This 6-inch aluminum ducting feels well made and durable. The material has a sturdy, reinforced structure, and the four-layer design gives it a strong and reliable feel. Replaced ALL of my ductwork in my RV. Didn't want to take a chance when I bought it second-hand. This ducting is heavy duty. Multiple layers and way thicker than what was in there from the factory. Don't hesitate to order this ducting, you will not be disappointed.

I normally use hard ducting, but the prices have gotten ridiculous. Plus, where you have to work around obstructions flex duct is so much easier. You just have to accept that the airflow is not going to be what rigid delivers. And as flex duct goes you can't do any better than this. Absolute top quality. I've purchase it before, along with other brands, and I just purchased this again. Forgot to install a code-required vent fan in the laundry room and I needed to work around everything that already had been installed. I got wiring run for an inline fan and needed to get from the register boot to the fan, and then to the wall vent cover. There were several items in the way so this made the run pretty easy, although I still try to keep the angles as low as possible and the runs as straight as possible. And I always fully stretch the duct to keep generated turbulence to a minimum. All that said, I really like this stuff. And it does comes with two stainless steel clamps.

Very flexible, easy to work with. Sized well, took duct tape well and worked great with 4” fittings. -1 star because I could not get more than about 20 feet (actually closer to 19 feet) regardless of stretching it out…a perfectly flat, straight run.

I use this with an AC Infinity Ventilation fan that I have converted into a window fan. This allows me to direct air exactly where I want, to my sleeping area. As a result I sleep like a rock. I've been using this for about 2 years now and it is holding up, although if you accidentally step on it or apply a force to it this might result in bending the coils a bit. So far this has only happened minimally. Ideally if you can set it up once and not move it around it should last near indefinitely. If you move it around and you are careful maybe as much as 5 to 10... that's what the judge said when I asked what time it is... Seriously, it's rugged enough if you handle it with a degree of care. I'm staying quite cool with it. This also works to redirect the air from my AC when it's too hot in NYC to uses a window fan. Enjoy for this reason or for growing to hearts content. Just a reminder, that although the latter part of what I'm addressing is now pretty much legal all over the place. Ultimately this adds an advantage to those that do not imbibe by automatically elevating the non-participant to a level of genius. Recommended.

Superb quality

First and foremost, this works perfectly with my BLACK+DECKER BPP08HWTB Portable Air Conditioner https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08TH93TGG/ It fit right over the exhaust connector that leads to the window, and the exhaust hookup that connects directly to the AC unit. The only CON is that I may have over-tightened the clamp (it comes with 2x clamps to create a perfect seal) that leads to the exhaust hookup to the AC unit, because there is a little bit of heat leakage at the hookup point, but I plan to seal it with some Heat Resistant Tape. It's not a perfect seal at the unit itself, but it's pretty close. The first time I had the clamp too tight and the hookup wouldn't line up and seal at all, but after sliding the tube back a few CM, and loosening the clamp a bit, I was able to get it pretty close. Anyhow, for about $25 bucks, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TUBE! Now I can have my AC Exhaust in the bedroom window, and blow cold air in my living room! If I could find a use for another, I'd purchase again. Hopefully it is as durable as it seems, because if so, I won't need a backup. Will update with pics later, just wanted to rate this item after hooking it up, it was that good! ### Update ### Nearly 4 months into ownership, and it is still holding up, and in nearly the same condition as when first purchased! A friend accidentally stepped on it while traversing my domicile, and despite the hose being slightly bent (the slinky-like wire corkscrewing that runs the length of the hose allowing it to retain its shape), it was intact, no puncture or tearing! I'm amazed, as I was all but sure it would be destroyed, or at the very least need a patch kit.
