This brace with a long name Works
This review is of the Omeer AFO Foot Drop Brace For Walking For Men And Women. That is the full name of the brace I am reviewing. There are so many different AFao braces on one page it can be difficult to determine which brace is the subject of the review when the brace is trferes to as "it". This brace works for me. I have purchased others that worked with lace up shoes only, and not well enough to provide a sense of security. . This brace with the long name works when barefoot, in socks, in regular shooes. This brace lifts the toes! It covers my big toe which is aimed down due to a very high arch on one foot. Braces that do not cover the toes did not work for me. So, if your personal foot drop is toes that just naturally aim downward and trip you up if you forget to march step, you may find this one brace might work for you.

Comfort all day and effective drop foot support!
My doctor told me to get one of these because a trip and fall would be physically devastating for my back. I was delighted to find this AFO is comfortable for all-day wear. Takes a little practice to put on correctly, but it keeps me from tripping and it's worth every penny. I just purchased my third one from Omeer to be able to wash one while having two available. I recommend using corn starch powder under the brace to keep moisture at bay. You will also likely need loose mules or slippers to wear over the brace. Around the house, I'm wearing a non-skid sock over mine to keep it clean.

They work
Hey guys, I am writing this review before the one for the left as the left one I love, this side (rt) not as much. Right side wraps the ankle opposite the left makes sense but makes it harder to do. But letโs get to the good; it works inside a shoe must be wider than your normal size (stuff around your foot) , once on there no lifting mechanism it is already done and holds all day, if the shoe is wider than enough the typical pinching seems not to be a problem, these go on pretty quickly (no doubling back of straps) not the not so good Do Not Wear These Without Shoes They Can Slip, you almost have to have your foot flat on the floor in order to put on, I am questioning the Velcro it just seem light duty tbd, no ankle staves and no way for them to put them in the design some of the need for them because of the way the foot straps work. The cost of these is kind of high for what it took to manufacture them. I have bought different designs many much more complicated to manufacture at the same or less costs. So letโs get real if you need one of these cost is not the most important thing, the thing you want is that it works, these do. Be prepared to buy replacements in a few months, I get 3mo no matter what design. Hope this helps you make your choice easier

Good brace, but Velcro wears out in 3 months.
Really like this brace for my foot drop. Comfortable, easy to put on. I can wear with most shoes, although longer laces are needed for some sneakers. My biggest complaint is that after two months the Velcro stopped holding well. Itโs still wearable, but having to redo the support straps is annoying. The other complaint is that the bottom heel wore out allowing the plastic brace material to wear the heels of my shoes. So 3 stars, but I bought a replacement anyway since I like it overall. Just unhappy to have to replace it so often.

Good, Good brace and company.
I really like this brace. I have complete Foot Drop and this brace allows me to get around the house just fine. I also have an $1100 custom AFO brace that I use for more strenuous walking. But this Omeer works in most situations. The one flaw that I have found is the bottom wore out long before it should have. I had it for several months of limited use. I contacted the company through Amazon and 'Jason' got back to me right away. He mailed me a new replacement that only took a few days to receive. Can't thank 'Jason' and Emeer enough for standing behind their product.

Good Comfort but Lacking Durability
Iโve worn this item for just over a month and find it very comfortable and it certainly helps in preventing tripping due to my dropped foot. However, after such a short time, the bottom stitching is wearing away. Better quality is required as the ad specifically indicates it can be worn barefoot. As I do so only in my home on a smooth laminate floor, such wear and tear is most disappointing. This product failure will prevent me from re-purchasing.

Works Great!!
this brace works great and solves my foot drop problem. Easy on, easy off. Great for around the house too when I'm just wearing socks. I ordered a second pair to have on hand. Highly recommend.

Help for foot drop
My husband uses this foot drop brace. It is still a little bit bulky to wear with most shoes; we have to look to find shoes that work with it. The brace is easy to use and helps his foot drop. The velcro of the first one he had stopped holding after about 6 months, but we purchased another.
