No, the hub still gets oxidized in the dishwasher

It does leave the black powdery residue if you machine wash it. I was disappointed.

Does this reach the bottom of a six-quart bowl?

Doesn’t touch the bottom but is very close and mixes up the bottom

Fits a Kitchen-Aid Professional 5 Plus

I bought 4 of these for our 6 Kitchen-Aid Professional 5 Plus mixers. The whisks that came with the mixers have all had wires that have popped out. Some of them lost 2 wires. We got these whisks in and they are amazing. Much heavier duty than the originals. They whip further out in the bowl and we love them! Plus they are stainless steel. The original were not. So much that I just bought another 4 because I was afraid when people find out how good and inexpensive they are that I won't be able to find them! Thanks for the amazing product!
