Superaser Fibrous Cleaning Block for Ceramic Sharpeners (2)

Finally got around to using these erasers, they clean your ceramic honing stones like new. The only whine that I have, they are quite over priced for what they are. However, I knew the price before I ordered them, so I will not take a star for that. I'm reviewing the performance and quality (not the price). These cleaners appear to be made with high quality materials and perform completely to the task. If they last for a reasonable time after semi- constant use, they will be worth every penny. I've used nylon brushes, pot scrubbing pads, etc. to clean my high end honing stones, these erasers are perfection compared to the other scrubbers. I have given you a true, factual and honest review, they work and then some...

It cleaned the stone rods but not all the way back to white. The rods seem to work better after cleaning

Does exactly what its supposed to do. Works awesome! 2 to 3 passes on the stone and its clean. If you use any type of ceramic sharpening system you need this. I found this to be the best way to clean my dry sharpening sysem. Stones sharpen like new after a few swipes with this. I sharpen a lot and have used a lot of sharpening systems and cleaning them has always been a pain. This works awesome!

they work well on ceramic stones and will try on other things that need a polishing cleanse.

Works really well for cleaning out the metal shaving of your ceramic stones. Have used it on round hones and the spyderco flat bench stones.

Based on cleaning ceramic sharpening rods with a regular pink eraser I thought this was supposed to be a superb cleaner. It will clean if you wet it as the instructions say, but I had to rub the ceramic rod 5 to 6 times as much to clean it as I did with a cheap pink children's pencil eraser. Time to look for a better solution.

this thing has been amazing! Cleaned up a lot of patina and surface rust spots on my knives. Definitely recommend!
