Hair tape detaches from extensions & sticks in hair would not recommend- also very sticky after just one wash. One of the worst tapes I’ve ever used.

I've worn tape-in extensions for many years. As I've gotten older I've found myself needing to install more pieces using single-sided tape instead of sandwiching 2 tape wefts. I tried several "brand" name hair extension company single sided tapes and found them to be shiny, plastic-y, and the edges roll easily. They felt like scotch tape honestly. NOT THESE. These are made of an almost fabric-like material so they are strong but very pliable. They are matte, not shiny. They do not roll up. They are a nice neutral dark color that easily blends with brown or black roots. I've even used these on top of a light colored tape weft (taped to the non-sticky side of the weft) to help blend the tape weft into my roots. These stay in place very well with proper care (avoid conditioners/oils near the tapes and keep your hair clean and dry.) I have pieces that have held easily 6-8 weeks which is pretty good for single sided tape which naturally slip faster than 2 sandwiched wefts. I find these are easy to remove with regular tape bond remover. I'm sticking with these from now on!

I love that it holds perfectly, last long without sliding down. The only thing I didn’t like was the amount of time it took me to peel the wax paper…. Geez!! 🙄 it was time consuming.

I’ve tried tons of brands. These do not stick well at all, will separate within days, occasionally fall out, and you’ll lose quite a few when washing. My natural hair is very fragile, so I started using these because while the adhesion is horrible, removal is super easy. No residual tape, less damage. Just annoying when your not removing how easily they come out

I really don’t write reviews very often, but this extension tape is definitely worth writing about. I used to spend over an hour removing my extensions when I used the replacement tape from Sally’s. 30 of those minutes were me pulling the leftover tape out of my hair and it left behind the worst residue and goo that Took forever to come out. This tape comes out so easy and never leaves behind any residue, I literally removed my entire head of extensions in 12 minutes last night and my hair felt great when I washed it this morning! Don’t buy any other brand, buy this brand!

I absolutely loved these tapes! They felt like fabric almost see-through fabric. I have dark hair. So they blend it in nicely. They weren’t sticky. Follow the directions and if you don’t know the directions, wash your hair, no conditioner. Make sure it’s completely dry before application. Don’t wash your hair again for 12 to 24 hours. You will have maximum adhesion and you will need a slight rubbing alcohol base to remove.

I've been using extensions for over 7 years and this is the best tape! Stayed in for about 7 weeks and only took them out due to hair growth. Usually it takes at least 2 hours to take them out and them clean up about 20 extensions. These took me under 45 minutes! There was no glue residue left in my hair at all and I barely had to clean off the extensions. Usually my scalp is sensitive for a day or two after removal due to all the glue residue I have to comb out but my acalw feels totally normal like I never even took them out! I'm so happy with finding these tapes but now I see amazon has them listed as currently unavailable. I really hope they come back soon so I can order more!
