Oh, the instructions comprehensive and easy to follow..... No Is Emporia customer services knowledgeable and helpful?.... No Would I recommend or buy again no? It would be great if you had a 16 year old to set it up and explain things to you.

Makkelijk te bedienen, duidelijk display, perfect voor iemand die nooit android smartphone heeft gehad. Duitse ( Oostenrijkse) handleiding kan ontcijferd worden, dankzij veel foto's. Echte aanrader.

Sehr einfach zu bedienen
Ich habe dieses Emporia Smart 5 Mini für meine Mutter gekauft, sie hatte schon das Vorgängermodell, mit dem sie gut zurecht kam. Tatsächlich war lediglich die einfache Handhabung ausschlaggebend für den Kauf. Das emporia Smart 5 arbeitet mit Android, allerdings kann bei der Installation auf die einfachere Benutzeroberfläche von emporia gewechselt werden. Diese sieht genauso aus, wie bei dem Vorgängermodell, was meine Mutter sehr begeisterte. Meine Mutter ist 76 und überhaupt nicht Technik affin. Hier kann sie schnell msl ein Foto machen, freut sich über Nachrichten und Bilder, die sie über WhatsApp erhält und hört mittlerweile sogar Podcasts!

Hardwaretechnisch macht das Handy einen guten Eindruck, es reagiert angemessen schnell. Jedoch ist die Sprach- und Freisprech’-Lautstärke für alte Menschen etwas zu leise. Hingegen ist der Klingelton so laut, dass der Lautsprecher übersteuert und manchmal vibriert. Bei der Software, genauer gesagt beim hauseigenen Launchpad, hat das Qualitätsmanagement geschlafen. Spracheinstellungen wurden wahrscheinlich nicht getestet. Ändert man die Sprache auf Tschechisch, bekommt man einen Mix aus Englisch und Tschechisch. Einige Buttons sind in tschechischer Sprache, andere wieder auf Englisch. Die Tastatur wird nur in Englisch angezeigt. Bei einem österreichischen Produkt sollte man erwarten können, dass die Sprache von Nachbarländern richtig unterstützt wird. So ist das Handy für uns unbrauchbar.
