Scrumptious! Top quality!
This panettone is absolutely delicious. It is very fresh. There is a LOT of Limoncello filling. Yum! I think it's worth the money, this is a top quality panettone. Would definitely purchase again.

Dry and lack luster flavor
The lemon gooey portions were very good. I would recommend this portion of the product as an excellent pudding, but the bread was unusually dry and generally lacking in flavor. It was not much better than an American version of fruit cake. My husband loves panettone of most varieties, but he would not eat a second portion of this Italian delight. Thank goodness we had relatives in town to help finish it off.

It's just ok. nothing to write home about. filling has alcohol "flavor"
Wasn't super impressed with this, the bread was kind of dry. When you do get the filling in a bite it makes that bite more moist and enjoyable. I think these cost too much for what you get. it's ok in taste, nothing to write home about, just ok. didn't hate it but didn't love it either. The filling is cooked with alcohol. For those of you who don't drink, while there is no actual alcohol in it as it cooked out, I still taste the "flavor" of alcohol in the filling. Since I don't drink, I don't really like the filling taste with the "flavor" of alcohol in it.

Delicious but contains an Artificial Preservative
Thus product was thought to be all natural, yet it does contain a preservative which can cause inflammation is some individuals who have an allergy to preservatives. The cake itself is very traditionally Italian and is a very enjoyable dessert. It looks good on a platter decorated with with lemons shaped like flowers.
