So, I bought the Boxbollen game for my kids as a “nice, quiet” Christmas present. Little did I know I was actually gifting them a full-contact sport that would turn our living room into a battleground! Who knew a simple game could turn my peaceful home into a scene from a blockbuster action movie? Let’s talk about the “strategic” gameplay. There’s nothing quite like watching my kids attempt to outwit each other while simultaneously trying to avoid knocking over every piece of furniture in the house. My coffee table is now a casualty of war, and I’m pretty sure the cat is plotting its escape from the chaos. And the noise! It’s like living with a pair of hyperactive puppies who discovered they can bark at each other while jumping on the furniture. My neighbors probably think we’re hosting a mini World Cup, complete with dramatic commentary from yours truly trying to keep the peace. Oh, and let’s not forget about the aftermath. The game requires a surprising amount of cleanup. After the dust settled, I found balls lodged in the most unusual places—under the couch, in the pantry, and I even discovered one in the dog's bed. We bought this for my son on Christmas day who is very much into his boxing. He absolutely loves it...as do all the family! It was a winner on Christmas day with everyone, links up to the TV easily enough. I'd say it's slightly overpriced for what you actually get though, which in essence is just a ball on a piece of string.

Got this for my son as stocking filler at Christmas. The whole family had great fun playing as the app allows you to connect to the phone or TV to see the count of number of hits. Addictive. It was the cheapest gift I bought and most used!

This is ok, purchased as gift for grandson. He said its,easy to use but the elastic snapped quite easy so didn't last to long. Thats why I have only given 3 stars. To be fair I didn't reach out to customer service to either replace or return as he was not bothered.

This literally must cost buttons to make. It co.es in a tiny box. Despite being over pricrd it was loved at christmas so i suppose worth it.

For £20, I expected something more substantial and some sort of connectivity between the ball device and the app. I assumed the ball had some sort of sensor inside and connected to your device via Bluetooth to monitor the number of hits. In fact, it is simply a poorly created app that uses the microphone on your phone to track the number of hits. So any noise, or tap or clap in the room, adds a hit to your score.................so it's never accurate. The actual headband and ball is pretty cheaply made as well. This item should cost less than £10 all day long

I wanted an easy fun thing for a family get together and saw an advert with football players thumping this thing around. At first I thought the likes of John Terry and Jessie Lingard had sold out for cheap advert money, but when I set the game up, what a bag of fun. Very smart and simple idea and the ability to share your best results is great too. I highly recommend Boxbellen for family fun/challenge or even as part of an exercise routine. It can bring out the competitive side of some people.
