Great quality and very useful, I use these heavily on the job site and two things wear out , the magnet in the tip and the sockets become deformed after heavy impact use. But that’s just what happens with use, takes a year or two of heavy abuse. I highly recommend this tool.and I’ve bought three of them.

I work in hvac and having all these sizes on my impact is a time saver when I get to that one unit that for some reason doesn’t have 1/4 or 5/16 nuts on the panels or holding the outdoor fan in place Might still need some smaller bits however just for those hard to reach corners

ive had 3 of these now not because i loose them or the wear out but because they have failed in some aspect. The first one was not a big deal really but the retaining spring around the socket holding the ball in place had malfunctioned and now the socket free slides when storing on the shaft. this didn't occur till after having the tool for a decent amount of time and using it almost every day so i was satisfied enough to buy another even if that was a common failure point. On the second round within the first 2 weeks the retaining magnet on the end had shattered and was missing about half of the magnet leaving it holding fasteners very poorly. So far the third one has been good over the past month but im starting to not depend on this as my my impact socket set and more of a back up when i don't have the full set on me

First thing to realize: These fit 1/4" hex drive (IMPACT drive), NOT the typical square socket wrench. The rod they come on holds 6 common sizes (3 flip sockets) securely. The end of the rod has a magnet to securely hold the bolt you're working with. IMO this one and the metric version are absolute MUST-carries in any EDC. The design lets me store them conveniently in a couple elastic loops in my EDC bag. With a 1/4" hex drive mini ratchet (711L, Titan, or ICON) you're ready for most bolts you will encounter. Use the rod from one set as your ratchet handle and the other for the socket you're using. If you want/need to go short in a tighter spot, a standard 1/4 hex drive bit will work for driving. I'm sure knock-off versions of these will be showing up soon, but with these from Klein, you know you're getting good impact quality.

Pair this set with a 711L flex-head ratchet, and you have the ultimate little toolbag socket set. These are truly genius.

Convenient, handy, functional. only issue is that it’s not insulated for electrical work but besides that it’s great and gets the job done

Electrican, use it daily. Keep it in my pouch at all times. Recommend for a 1st or 2nd year.
