Excellent battery for the Dell Latitude D630 Laptop.
I needed 3 of these batteries for my Dell Latitude D630 Laptops. All three laptops needed replacement batteries. These batteries worked perfectly. They came fully charged and although the installation in the laptop was difficult due to the design of the laptop, they were the perfect fit and are working well. I would buy from "Strategic Technical Solutions" again for my future needs. Excellent quality battery.

works as advertised
My Dell laptop wouldn't boot. It turned out that the clock backup battery was dead. This looked like an exact replacement and it fixed my problem. Based on everything I read, the dead battery shouldn't have prevented booting up but it did. Connecting the battery is simple. Getting to it on my laptop and I expect many other laptops is a PIA. It required taking off the cover back cover (12 tiny screws), disconnecting the main battery, disconnecting and removing the WiFi postage stamp size card, and then finally unplugging the old coin battery and plugging in new one. It would have been much easier if the battery was in an easily accessible socket! And it there was a socket I could have purchased the battery for a fraction of the price at a local drug store or supermarket.

It worked for what i needed.
Battery works in the Dell M4800.. Wires are a little longer then the stock battery but you can just tuck them away and it works.

Great battery, great price and best of all you don't have to deal with Dell.
The 'CMOS BATTERY FOR DELL LATITUDE D620 D630 D810 D830 by PCRepair " is about a kizillian dollars cheaper than Dell and you don't have to wait 3 weeks to be told that Dell doesn't have your part, your order was cancelled and now you can wait another 2 weeks for your refund. Unfortunately as I write this review the battery is currently not available, hopefully it will be back soon.
