- Nugget Reserve Gold Paydirt Clunker Panning Pay Dirt Bag – Gold Prospecting Concentrate

My Daughter and I just recently got into hobby panning. She got the bug after binge watching the first three seasons of Gold Rush. I was a little apprehensive and skeptical when the Goldn Paydirt Nugget Reserve Clunker arrived because it was a very small bag for the price. We got our pan out and headed out to the back porch opened it up and dumped it in the pan. During the panning we saw a lot of rocks and some leaves we even saw pieces of other metals. Once we were done panning out the clutter we were pleasantly surprised there was a fair amount of gold in the pan more than two of the Name brand Gold Rush panning kits from Target. The total gold we got from one bag weighed in at .200g or .007oz with the clunker we got weighing in at .115g. My daughter and I will definitely be buying again.

I’m an experienced panner used to flour gold in black sand, so this bag was not a challenge whatsoever-which is fine. It wasn’t advertised to be. It had very little heavy material, seemed mostly like a tiny scoop of play sand with a pinch of gold flake added. I’m not sure why it was called clunker. I ended up with 0.03g of gold and I ran through it multiple times to ensure I hadn’t missed anything. It seems like the good bags went out years ago to get the high reviews and since then they’ve been sending trash. Terrible ROI compared to other companies. Can’t recommend them.

I recently became interested in gold panning and decided to buy the supplies and some paydirt to test my panning techniques on. This dirt is great for beginners and experts alike to practice on. Once you get the hang of your technique, you can easily begin to separate the black sand and quickly find the flakes. I would say this is a great way to practice your technique with reward, as it's very nice to see the gold flakes you've found after panning. The photo shows my first attempt at panning for gold with the dirt, alongside a quarter, for scale. After that first pan, I was able to hone my technique and found about twice as many flakes each time. This also made me see how inefficient my first few practice runs were, so that when I actually go panning, I wouldn't lose any flakes. I will definitely be buying this again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun time!

As a first-time gold panner, my exaltations were extremely low, I knew I was going to lose a good amount of money in buying this, however, If you're like me and this is your absolute first time panning I beg you not to buy this. I'm sure someone with more experience could find more gold than I did but if you are new to panning like I am you will find little to no gold all the while being haunted by that $32 price tag. It completely spoils any possible fun to be had. It's not a horrible product, with enough practice I'm sure it can be very fun, but if you are a beginner the price makes every small mistake very costly

Consumers need to realize that they aren't paying for gold. They are paying for concentrates that contain gold. I'm new to prospecting/mining and I've pulled buckets out of the creek this summer that had nothing. Wanted to figure out if I'm digging in the wrong spots, or throwing away what I collect, because I'm in experienced at panning. This purchase made it clear that I'm just digging in the wrong spots. The amount of gold I pulled out of these bags was about what I expected, and it met my expectations. The photos shown in my review are the results from two bags.

Gold is roughly 40 dollars per gram. I bought 2 of these, in order to average out the gold per bag. I obviously didn't get one of the great lottery bags, together, I panned just under .5 gram. So that's about 20 bucks, top dollar price for this gold. Don't get me wrong, they did have 1 decent sized nugget in each, which represented probably 20 percent of the gold found in each pan. If you are getting into gold panning and want some practice, enjoy the thrill of the hunt, these are a great way to go. Or, you might save a few bucks and buy one of their cheaper bags, still find gold, and still have fun. At over a 60 dollar combined cost, with a 33% return on investment, I don't recommend that you purchase these if you enjoy the idea of coming even remotely close to breaking even. To make matters more complicated, this company does offer an incentive to rate them 5 stars, they will give you a small pay dirt bag with your next order. So read these 5 star reviews with a little skepticism. You have to come close to 1 gram each bag to break even, when you consider that this gold wouldn't be at the top dollar market value, since it's not been purified to 24 karat. I am not an expert gold miner or anything like that. I have purchased several different brands here, and direct from various web sites, and I have to say, this was one of the poorest return on investments I've seen so far. Bottom line, you'll have fun panning for gold, and this bag is no different that the rest, with the exception that it costs 10 bucks more than your average bag. You will get a decent sized small, but heavy nugget. Unless your win the "lottery", that is, you get a bag where they added extra gold, you don't come close to getting your money's worth of gold. They say, if you want to get your moneys worth, but a gold coin or whatever. Ask yourself, does a company with a great product, need to offer an incentive for users to give them great reviews, is it honest? If they can't be honest in one area, are they being honest in how much gold they actually add in each bag or that they even have "motherlode" bags?

Dont waste your money on this crap. Twelve tiny flakes put in some b.s. mystery mica looking stone. Its not real paydirt. Its a few flakes in im not even sure what mineral. It didnt come from a mine "unsearched". Its a complete waste of time and money. No black sand at all. Buy a bag of sand from home depot, you will find more gold.

Surprised, I must be really lucky. I’ve only panned 1 tablespoon and got several pickers in that 1 tablespoon, lots of flakes and flour. I’ll add pics of total amount
