This bolo tie was very nice got lots of compliments on it . I got the dark blue it was very nice , it went well with my blue dress . I gave it 5 stars because it was easy to order and the color was just what I needed, easy to order too .

This is a very attractive alternative to the traditional dress tie. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because it is a bit larger than I expected. That said, I was very pleased with the final look and received a few compliments. on it.

Since this is a product of nature, all stones similar but may will vary significantly in appearance. Actual stone size 1.2"w x 1.5"h. Bolo cord length 40 inches. Gemology - Tiger's eye - appearance - a golden to red-brown color and "silky" luster. It is a variety of metamorphic rock, and a 'pseudomorph' of quartz w/ fibrous macrocrystalline structure. The luster is derived from the from the interaction of light rays and the stone's parallel intergrowth of quartz crystals and multi-mineral amphibole fibers. Lore - The Tiger's Eye crystal is associated w/courage and confidence, derived from understanding one's true nature.

I purchased this Moranse bolo tie as a Christmas gift and found it to be a decent value for the price. The cowhide rope is functional but lighter and less substantial than expected, so it doesn’t feel especially premium. The slide mechanism is the strongest feature. It glides smoothly, locks securely, and stays in place, giving the tie a reliable fit when worn. The tiger eye stone has a pleasant color with natural variation, though it lacks the depth and dimension seen in higher-end pieces, and the Celtic-style detailing adds visual interest despite the overall lightweight feel. I bought this tie for my son, thinking it looked great. I was very impressed with the quality, especially considering the price I paid. However, for some reason, he didn't like it. This experience taught me that a tie should probably be chosen by the person who will wear it.
