Brilliant device!
I have a posterior rectocele and have been manually assisting myself to have a bowel movement. I refused to pay £20 initially for what I thought was just a piece of plastic, however after being fed up of using my fingers, this device means it is much more hygienic and less intrusive than using my fingers. It is easy to clean and is designed well for the job. The only thing I would say is it is silly to use a velvet bag to put the device in when black fluffy bits end up on it. A waterproof bag would have been a better and sensible idea.

Fabulous!
I cant believe how amazing this product is. If your having difficulty with a rectal prolapse and uterine walls collaspe then this is a game changer. Easy to use with a discreet carry bag. Easy to clean just leave in hot water untill cold and dry with tissue and your good to go for next time its needed. I was very poorly with toxins building up but using this tool I have had so much energy. Plus if you get a pocket pushing through from your retum whilst pooping, placing this in to the correct position releases the trapped poop and you will even know when that happens as the tool dips, so you know when theres clearance. I think this is a game changer whilst I await further investigations into what's going on.

Expensive
It definitely does the job. The cost, well it’s really expensive. Having gone for it because I needed some help, I realised there are cheaper options, are they recommended, probably not, but if you need help, you need help. Any kind of depressor would work, at a faction of the cost. Just my opinion

Not for everyone
I thought quite hard before committing to buying this gadget. It’s smooth and hygienic and easy to use after a bit of practice, but I’ve not found it very helpful for my particular condition. Also I would not particularly like to have to carry it around in my handbag as although it’s light it is still a fairly large package once stored in its carrying pouch. As for the carry pouch - why the need for the flock outer? This picks up lint and dust and even hair in my bathroom which looks dreadful on the black flock. I have transferred my femeeze to an ordinary waterproof toiletry bag instead! Ultimately it’s a lot of money to spend for a small piece of shaped plastic. I guess it’s useful to others depending on where their prolapse is situated. It’s a pity this type of aid can’t be got on prescription from your doctor or clinic as it would be easy to decide if it’s suitable that way, but I would not buy this again.

Works for me....
I can understand why some women might struggle with this, but I have no problems with it. A very helpful device that helps emptying the bowel with a rectocele. It's so smooth and comfortable to insert, I need no lube personally. It's so much easier and more dignified than trying to digitise. A great aid.

Very, very painful to use, not for menopausal women
Horrible device, very very painful to use despite watching the video,, following the instructions and using loads of lube.Certainly would not recommend for post menopausal ladies like myself who have a thin vaginal wall. Ladies if you find sex uncomfortable you will probably find this impossible to use. Tried it once and had cystitis symptoms the following day together with a very sore vag. Absolute no no from me I have more success with an item I purchased from Ann Summers tbh!!

Game changer. Discreet to carry in a handbag, although I keep it in a makeup bag as the bag supplied - a draw string fastening, is not really practical when out and about. I was hesitant to try this, it seemed a strange thing to do but has made going to the toilet (no 2's) so much less of a struggle since developing double prolapse. One question, why do we have to pay VAT? Surely it's an essential medical device.

Easy to use, moulded plastic, check for any rough patches advised by makers. Effective.
I have a rectocele and cystocele due to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I certainly do not wish to risk surgery with the mesh implant scandal.I wanted a non invasive aid which I could control myself.I bought this product as a gamble, sticking a thumb in the vagina can be awkward whilst emptying bowel and bladder. The instructions are helpful.Used it with no trouble. Urination was also easier with no pinching to the urethra. I did not need lubricant, I put this down to adequate HRT, very important in maintaining the health of genitals. Those women who cannot use systemic hormones should ask for vaginal estriol cream from their GP.Device is so simple to use. I was annoyed by one thing. This was developed by the NHS to help women. Great idea, however cost is high for a piece of moulded plastic. I can afford it but many women will hesitate to buy it.Simple to clean, nicely designed. If you are confident with your own body, it will be a good deal easier to use.

Utile
Utile quand on souffre d'une rectocele. Beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'est.

Really helps
Expensive but worth it , really helps with elimination if you have a rectocele in combo with lots of fiber

Rausgeschmissenes Geld!

Comfortable and works well
Relieved that this seems to have helped solve my ongoing stool straining as a result of a diagnosed rectocele. I was hesitant to buy it , and it is VERY EXPENSIVE. for what it is , however , I was really struggling so decided to buy one. I would tell any woman that has this issue to take a leap of faith and buy one — it really has made a big difference in my quality of life

Bag is not lint free!
Wow the Pink tax bit hard on this one! The Femmeze is an excellent medical device, it works very well- when properly used, to correct rectocele and cystocele. Sadly someone decided that meant anyone with these conditions (namely women) shall pay exorbitant amounts of money for a few cents of body safe plastic. To add insult to injury the "lint free bag" it comes with is anything but! It is a cheap thin fabric with flocking loosely glued on it. I was having issues with lint almost immediately. This is a infection danger. If you need this product get a different bag or easily cleaned container to keep it in between uses. All in all it is an excellent medical device we are all just being screwed over by greed and crappy bags.
