Was very pleased with how sharp and easy use this was as first. However after just four weeks use - not used every day - it is already not so sharp and quite an effort to use.

It works brilliantly. The only problem is not one of the product itself, it is that it takes a lot of pressure to get it through the apples. I can do it but my wife has to call me every time to assist. If it was stand mounted with a lever it might be better and I know that all apples will vary. The end result is exactly as expected and delivers neat segments with minimal waste. I would have given it 5 stars if my wife could make it work!

We bought this for a caramel apple party my wife was having at work. It was really put thought the paces slicing many apples. Rather than serving an entire apple, she chose to slice them into wedges and then provide dipping stations with different toppings. The party was a hit, and this little slicer was a champ. It quickly cut through many apples. It's quick! It is easy to use, and it fits in our drawer for easy storage. We really like this slicer and I'm sure it will be in our kitchen for many years.
