Best mix of hold power and natural look that I've found. Sure there are other products that are stronger but they end up making your hair look like a helmet and very unnatural. I have relatively short hair btw, I can't speak for longer hair. Very picky about the putty/pomade I use and this is the only that's passed the test. Also, you can't beat the price. $15 for 3.4 oz which is a huge amount. Will last you at minimum 6 months but most likely the whole year.Edit: Had to take a star away as I finally found the perfect product that creates a natural look like this does but also has a much stronger/longer hold. Layrite cement clay is the name and I can finally say my lifelong search is over.

Works better than gel
I'm an older guy and used gel to keep my hair in place. One time the girl cutting my hair recommended I try some pommeade. This was the first I tried and I really liked it.It starts out a little like I put a paste or clay in my hair, a bit sticky. But as I brush it in, it gets soft and there's no sticky texture.It is a bit pricey I think, but it lasts 4-5 months! When I ran out of the first jar, I tried some cheaper brands but didn't work nearly as well. I won't switch anymore. I'm on my 5th jar now in several years!
