This works really well. A must have for long hikes.

Worked like a charm. Took it out for a 4 day trip backpacking it through the Oachita National Forest. Easy to fill with the open mouth, and was able to hang it in a variety of ways with some 550 cord and carabiner. Decent flow rate and holds a decent amount of water. 4 of us on the trip and we were able to keep our canteens filled without too many trips. Packed up small and light when done being used.

Was on a six day elk hunt first time ever in the back country. Work flawless cleaning water from streams and creeks with no problem at all. Easy to use very portable and fast. Planning on getting another for in the camper.

Very good for the price (US$24). This water filter works, it's not perfect but is good for the price. I have Sawyer and Survivor Pro, they aren't as good as this one. Its water bag's design and quality need improvement, the slide-in clip at the top of the water bag is difficult to use, I had to apply a drop or two of vegetable oil at the bag opening so the clip can slide in. Need to be careful when handling the bag opening area, may rip the rubber bag when struggling with the slide clip. Other than this problem the system itself works great, flow rate is about 10 minutes per full bag (about 3 liters). The filter itself can be back washed by using regular bottled water bottle that is easily bought at most supermarkets and convinience stores. The set doesn't take much space and is lightweight. Before first use, wash inside the bag a few times with soap, then rinse well, soak inside with vinegar or baking soda and water for a few hours as recommended, then rinse well again. I used salt because I didn't have vinegar or baking soda, it worked well too. The filter itself doesn't seem can be opened to replace the charcoal inside, I guess the charcoal will only be good for about 30 gallons of water, after that there will be no more chlorine removed from the water.

Works great. Took it hiking on the AT and filtered my water through streams I crossed. Worked like a charm. Easy to set up.

Great for taking on long hikes or camping. Ideal for if ever needing water where there is not clean water. Will always take hiking and camping with me.

Took this gravity water filter on my first hiking trip after the long winter. Easy to set up, clear instructions, and super convenient to use. The seal holds well, no leaks at all. I’ll definitely bring it on future hikes. Highly recommended if you’re also into hiking!
