My skin is happy with the fabric, I am allergic to some compression wear and artificial fibers. This fabric is pretty tough, it is labeled hand wash only and will expand if you treat it roughly. It also does not get along well with velcro, so keep its little hooks away from it. It is quite a thick fabric, which makes me feel like it's a really good quality base layer. I do not like how low the back is, I didn't really take this into consideration, but my back is really cold when I wear this. My S1 has not seen the light of day in years. The versatility of this object depends on what you have the confidence to do with it.
