Bought this to replace 7900 XTX both on a par with each other but 4080 wins when ray tracing is enabled but if you don't need all the eye candy the Radeon card is as fast and on a lot of games much faster also power connector is at the back of the card not like most Rtx cards which are usually on top in the middle where you can see cable having cable at the back is great for my thermaltake tower 300 case because cable is now not visible also if you want to use lian li strimer rgb extention this does not fit as there is not enough space because of the heatsink

I bought this GPU as a lot of games require more vram and my old card was always running hot. This GPU is huge, I thought I had a big GPU before, 2070 super 3 fans but this one is bigger. The cooling system works great it stays are around 40°c while gaming and the fans are really quiet when they spin up. This card is not easy to install. With this card you have to build another mounting bracket for the end of the GPU. This makes installing the card a lot harder. I was not impressed when the card did not come with all the screws, spacers and washers require to install the card. Once you build the new mounting bracket and install the card normally it's not too bad to install. You get a 3 x 8.pin connect adapter to feed power to the GPU. I have a Corsair tx750m power supply. This is just about keeping up. I would definitely recommend that you have a 800w power supply just to be on the safe side by if you already have a 750w you should be ok for now. Overall the value for money is okay if you are upgrading from a GPU which is a few years old.

Had for a few years now. There isn’t a game I’ve played where I’ve struggled with max graphics on a 4K screen. This things a machine.

For £600 more you could have an RTX 4090 which is only 20% better. Save your money - this is a very capable card that will last you years. I am playing Avatar on ultra at 4K with no effort, the card does not get above 46*C. Awesome performance.

Great card at MSRP. Card is running under 60C. Boost up to 2800Mhz. Very happy with the purchase and performance.

Feels very substantial, both in the hand and under load. Handles anything I throw at it with ease. The fans can get a little loud but they keep the temperature under control so I can't complain much. Very easy to install, I think it has 4 or 5 ports out the back which is perfect - both hdmi and DP so should work with your favourite monitors. Honestly it made me want another monitor so I can use more of it.

I ordered this GPU for my custom PC build. It was the first PC I ever built and I couldn't be happier with the quality and performance of the 4080 Super. My last GPU was a 1070, so this was like going from a beat up old sedan to a lambo.

La Gigabyte RTX 4080 SUPER WINDFORCE V2 è una delle GPU “premium” più equilibrate oggi: offre potenza e versatilità per gaming 4K, creatività, rendering e lavori intensivi. Se cerchi il meglio e il tuo PC è all’altezza, è una scelta “a prova di futuro” per anni. Se invece hai esigenze leggere o budget contenuto, probabilmente è fin troppo e potresti risparmiare scegliendo qualcosa di meno “top”.

Mein aktuelles System, bevor ich diese Karte gekauft hatte, war ein neun 9900 K mit einer 3080 extreme von Gigabyte. Ich habe lange überlegt, was zu meiner Aufrüstung mehr beiträgt, eine neue Grafikkarte oder eine neue CPU. Nach einigen Recherchen habe ich mich dann dazu entschlossen. Erst mal nur die Grafikkarte zu tauschen, da mein Portmonee nur eines von beiden zuließ. Fazit: Ich habe eine deutliche Leistungsteigerung wahrgenommen und kann derzeit bei einer Auflösung von 2K alle Spiele spielen, die ich möchte. Aktuelle Titel wie Greyzone oder Titel mit Unreal Engine 5, sind mit meinem System kein Problem. Ich gehe davon aus, dass ich mit einer aktuelleren CPU noch mehr Leistung aus der Karte holen könnte, da ich mir nicht sicher bin, ob ich mit meiner CPU ein Bottleneck erzeuge. DayZ läuft zum Beispiel mit allen Grafik Einstellungen auf Max und einer Auflösung von 2K mit fast 200 FPS. Was will man mehr. Tolle Karte. Was die Lautstärke der Karte angeht, muss ich auch sagen. Ich bin sehr überrascht. Man nimmt ein lautes Rauschen war aber kein übertönen der Lüfter. Wirklich angenehm. Ich kann diese Karte nur weiter empfehlen.
