For those complaining about caffeine: 2 heaping tsp is roughly 4–5 half-tsp servings, so approximately: ∙ Caffeine: ~1mg — essentially nothing ∙ Catechins: ~500mg ∙ L-theanine: ~55mg ∙ Polyphenols: ~375mg ∙ Tannins: ~90mg And, this matcha is so rich, you could probably get a decent drink with 1 heaping teaspoon. Tea quality is great with that fresh earthy scent. It’s delicious. I still might not drink it at night same as I don’t drink decaf at night. The L-theranine produces a calm focus. Overall great purchase! I will purchase again.

The label stating 0.24 mg of caffeine is extremely misleading and likely inaccurate for this decaffeinated matcha tea powder. I have a medical condition that requires me to strictly limit caffeine intake, and I experience severe symptoms if I exceed 10 mg. I followed the instructions and used 1/2 teaspoon for a 2 oz shot, but I immediately experienced the same symptoms I get from high caffeine consumption. It makes me question whether only the initial test batch reflected that caffeine level and whether the rest of the batches being shipped out were ever properly tested.

I used this to make Matcha ice cream and the flavor was so rich and strong, I had to majorly modify the recipe. I am glad for the reduced caffeine, so I can eat more of it! Here is my recipe (1 qt of ice cream) if anyone is interested: In a saucepan combine 2 cups whole milk with 1 cup heavy cream. Heat medium-low. Add 3/4 cup of pure maple syrup, 1/8 tsp coarse sea salt, and 1 tsp vanilla bean paste. Whisk until dissolved. Remove from heat after it's warm, do not boil. In a medium bowl put 2.5 tbsp matcha powder and add 4 tbsp of the warm milk mixture and stir out the clumps until it's a smooth paste. Add another 4tbsp milk and repeat. Repeat this about 4 times and then whisk the paste with the rest of the milk. Use a sieve to transfer this mixture into a covered container. Chill in fridge at least 4 hours or overnight. Churn in ice cream maker for 20-25 min. Freeze to set up at least 4 hours or overnight. You can buy a great ice cream maker and ice cream containers on Amazon as well! 💚🍵🍦

This is a bright green matcha with a gentle taste. I feel great about buying from Korea, given their high standards of agriculture and production.

Expensive and brown matcha. Doesn’t taste ceremonial grade, it should be bright green. It’s just alright if you want decaf matcha.

Are you kidding me? I was shocked when I retrieved this teeny, tiny, flat package from it's wrapping. To be absolutely correct, it is 1.06 ounces. This company is ripping people off by using the term "ceremonial" Matcha. No different from any other I have tried and the bag will be gone in a few weeks. Total Ripoff.
