I bought this to store my autologous serum eye drops. It worked great to keep my drops cold because they must remain refrigerated at all times. I was concerned that the cooler would keep the drops cold for an extended period of time during car and air travel but the cooler worked as described. It easily kept my drops cold for 24 hours and I feel confident it would have kept them colder for longer if needed. I have traveled through airport security with the cooler several times with no problem. I have also left the cooler in a warm/hot car for 6-8 hours and my drops remained cold. This cooler has made traveling for me much easier because I do not have to worry about my drops spoiling due to not remaining cold. I would highly recommend for storing medications that need to remain cold as long as they fit in the cooler. I actually wish there was one that was shorter and smaller because I do not need a cooler this big to store my eye drops but I am still very pleased with this cooler.

It will last a 26 hour flight from California to SE Asia no problem with only the blue frozen pack. I've tested it in the cargo hold and as a carryon, no problems lasting the whole flight and then some. It does not last if you leave it inside your car where it's very hot. To be fair, nothing will... Four stars because the battery died after only a few months and it seems I can not replace it without taking it apart with a hammer. Very happy overall with the purchase. Will hold a few small insulin bottles and 4 syringes. I've flown more than a dozen times, and I've never been questioned by TSA or any foreign country. I've never had to open it, nobody has ever asked. 3 month update: the digital desplay stopped working

Excellent but it only fits two of my insulin pens. Nevertheless, I am traveling in Europe now with very long walks and very hot days. My insulin’s stays cool the entire day with no issues as I had before with some of the frozen gel packs. The blue ice pack on this keeps the insulin cool for a long time. I also like the digital temperature sensor.

This bottle was purchased because it had the temperature read out on the lid. This read out accurately worked for four days of my trip. Then it blinked on 32 degrees for a day, which was not accurate. Then it stayed at 32 degrees readout for the rest of my trip. My meds stayed cool only because I put them in a plastic bag and added ice every day. Not what I had planned. Our European hotels and B & B’s , mostly, did not have mini fridges or any other way to keep the meds cool. I could have saved the money and dedicated an insultated water bottle to accomplish the same results.

Worked Great! TSA Tip: Place empty vials back into container when traveling back on aircraft). Traveled from US to Mexico. Had my medication filled pen (Wegovy 1 pen as I take 1 injection a week) in container in carry on and I alerted them I had the container. They scanned it and had me open it up (my med vial was full of med) and they were good with it. Stayed cold as stated until I had to inject later that eve after I got to Mexico. Upon departing Mexico a few days later I placed the empty container back into my carry on without the empty vial. It went through scanner and I was flagged. TSA had empty container in hand, asked me to open it (no mediciation or vial). I explained to them I injected it and threw vial away at resort. After going back and forth they ended up letting me take empty container but was going to confiscate it. After you inject medication: place EMPTY vial (s) back into container for your trip back so they can see you used the container for medication.

Llevaba buscando algo que realmente mantuviese fría la insulina por mucho tiempo. En un viaje de trabajo de 2 días (a un lugar donde estábamos a 35°C) se mantuvo siempre entre 1° y 3°. No hubo necesidad de buscar refrigeración en otra parte.
