Imagine: Champion Rider (PC)

Please don't follow the current 3.5 star rating that this game has - it's great! For a start, it's 2 games in one as it also comes with Pippa Funnell Ranch Rescue (the prequel game to this one). The game itself is gorgeous in terms of scenery and music. There was also a backstory about saving the endangered mustangs that live around the ranch, which made a change from the usual raising money to save the farm story (or none at all like in My Horse and Me). The horses themselves aren't really correct looking but they're really cute which certainly helps! This game isn't very difficult to complete, and even the hardest competition only took me one go. However it was really fun and I'll definitely play it again sometime. I've not had any of the issues that some other people have had so I don't know what that was all about. I did have to reinstall DirectX though, so maybe try that. I'd fully recommend it over several other horsy games I have (and I have many!) so well done Ubisoft. And at £[] I don't think you can go wrong - give it a try :)

This game is very similar to one I have on the Nintendo wii, which I still haven't finished due to the amount of training your horse you have to do, I was pleased to see you didn't have to go all over the map with a number of different horses to train for competitions. Instead you are able to help these ranch owners to figure out why the mustang mates are unable to have foals. It is a very good story, the scenes of the map are beautiful, and the controls are easy to use. My only criticisms are: - The horse will only gallop on one rein (to those non-horsey people, it doesn't switch canter lead) so therefore, when galloping in the opposite direction, the horse looks a bit off and unbalanced -It only took me a few hours to complete the story of the game, however you are able to continue breeding and riding your horses, and I think you're able to redo some competitions. I'm willing to answer any questions about the game if you want to email me through harpwoodequestrian@gmail.com

ok i played this game the first day i got it obviously i played it followed the main story and compleated it i was dissapointed i thought it was rubbish once you compleat the games ect. your finished imagine champion rider was a waste of my money and i could have spent it on other things it dident keep me occupied for no longer than a day and the horse when in competitions it zooms in and out and the horse runs round it circles and you get bored its fun when you dont have tamed horses and your only allowed to keep a certain amount it would be better if you have tamed a horse and you havent used it in a certain amount of time it's replaced by another but this is my point of view i would have this as a 7+ to keep them amused over all i would give this product 1/10

Great fast proccess but disc does not work properly game loads fine then game screen freezes but game is still paying and there is nothing i can do i have uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing works and no feed back from seller about faulty product not impressed now

i got this game in may and at first i really liked it and i did not know you get 2 games with it so i was really happy that i got 2 games instead of 1 game any way it was good but i completed it too soon so that is what i did not like about it but i did not care then because it was a 2 pack so i went to play the other game and when it loaded up i saw it was a game i all read have so i was not happy but over all i think it is a good game but also you do not get to do shows that much you just do them at the end of the game and i did not like that because i really like doing the shows :)

Got my copy this morning really happy with it it got here faster than I thought it would so a big thank you xx

My daughter very happy

So good my daughter loves it

I have not found a better horse game than this. It actually includes two games in one. Graphics are awesome. The first game you learn to ride and compete in competition great storyline got me hooked played for hours on end. The next game u help to tame wild mustangs and u can breed your horses in both games. Very awesome and fun. I finished it and i still play it :)Win horses and differnt items to use. Mini games and very beautiful breathtaking scenery :)Never had a problem playing it on my Windows 7 Dell.

Grazie.

it needed more story line. But other then that the game was actually pretty good. I loved all the wild horses, I wish I could've had more in the paddock. :D

Doesn't run right on a 3GHx P4 running Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3. Whole sections of the game (such as the horse) don't appear. Spends most of the time frozen, then jumps to another point and freezes. On a faster laptop (Windows 7, Core Duo, new in 2010), it does run, but it has many flaws. The worst: attempts to change the horse's direction right or left, even only slightly, often make the horse spin uncontrollably. The only way out of a spin is to get off the horse and back on. That makes it pretty difficult and unsatisfying to ride any course. I'd expect the game to at least "work." It's a complete waste of time and money.

I never got to play this game because of failure to get the download to work thus ending up with NO refund....put it on XBox360 guys!
