Not Just Hype - you will LOVE this toothbrush!
Pros: Premium packaging and presentation High-quality build - not flimsy plastic Compact and travel friendly Excellent oscillation technology App-controlled settings for customization Easy to store charging cable Stylish color options Reasonably priced Includes a nice travel case Cons: App control may feel unnecessary to some Stainless steel version shows fingerprints easily As a longtime Philips Sonicare user, I was simply looking for a secondary toothbrush to keep in my motorhome. I didn't expect to be this impressed by the Lain electric toothbrush! From the moment I opened the box, I could tell this was a quality product. The packaging is so well-designed and sturdy that I almost didn't want to discard it. It's clear the company takes pride in its product and wants to make a great first impression. The toothbrush it'self feels solid and well made. It's shorter than my Sonicare, which makes it perfect to take along with you. Plus, it has a travel case - bonus! One of my favorite features is the charging cable. It's flexible, easy to store, and magnetically attaches to the device. This also makes it convenient for packing/travel. The brush's performance is where it really shines. The oscillation technology is outstanding - it actually moves in a brushing motion rather than just vibrating like other models. Fair warning...don't turn it on before it's in your mouth or there will be toothpaste everywhere! The app lets you control the intensity and brushing duration. While I personally would have preferred these settings on the device itself, I understand we're in a tech driven world now, and some users may appreciate the app integration. The color options are very nice - although if you are OCD like I am, I would not opt for the stainless steel version - its a fingerprint magnet. Overall, this toothbrush exceeded my expectations! While I was originally looking for a secondary toothbrush for travel, I have quickly changed my mind. I have purchased a second Laifen, now I have one in both my home and the motorhome. I highly recommend this toothbrush - you will not be disappointed!

This is an amazing Toothbrush for the money!!
This is a really good tooth brush and it is amazing for the price. I've had very expensive Philipps sonic care and very expensive Oral B toothbrushes (both over $200). I got tired of paying the crazy price for the brush head refills and I came across Laifen on youtube. I have had the laifen for over a year and it is great once you know how to use it. I put my brush on the highest sweeping movement with the lowest speed. The high speed on this brush can be way too strong. It's stronger than any other brush that I have used. A slow speed with lot's of movement goes over my all the surfaces of my teeth better without causing discomfort. My teeth feel clean and amazing. Also I do not use the ultra clean brush heads....they are too hard (pause). I use the blue brush head because it provides a softer bristle and good cleaning. The toothbrush has been amazing and the size of the brush allows me to get in other areas of my mouth (Ayoooo) vs the oral b circular brush. This is great for the price and much quieter than the Oral b and the sonic care. It's exceptional for the price and the build quality is amazing.

Extremely Disappointing Experience with the Laifen Wave Electric Toothbrush – Do Not Buy
I bought the Laifen Wave electric toothbrush about a year ago (actually just over by a few weeks), expecting a premium product since it cost around $100. The brushing itself was fine while it worked – it has that unique oscillation and vibration combo that feels powerful and leaves your teeth pretty clean, and the battery life was decent at first. The app customization is a nice gimmick if you’re into tweaking settings, and the build felt solid with the seamless design. But here’s where it all falls apart: after roughly a year of normal use (twice a day, nothing crazy), it suddenly stopped working. When I try to charge it, there’s this constant blue flashing light, and the toothbrush is completely inoperable – won’t turn on at all. I reached out to Laifen customer service, explained the issue clearly, provided my purchase order, and included a video. Their response? A generic, scripted email saying sorry, but my warranty is 12 months and it’s expired, so no free repair or replacement. They didn’t even acknowledge the blue flashing light or tell me what it means. No troubleshooting tips, no empathy for it being just three weeks past warranty, nothing. Instead, they just pushed me to buy a new one – linking to their “SE model” at 25% off like that’s supposed to make up for it. This is actually insane. No effort to help whatsoever. A $100 electric toothbrush should absolutely last way longer than a year – I haven’t even used up all the replacement heads that came with! Hiding behind a strict 1-year warranty (while newer “Special” versions apparently have 2 years) and refusing to stand behind their product when it fails so soon is ridiculous. Their customer service is awful – zero real support, just a sales pitch to repurchase. I am extremely, extremely frustrated. I will absolutely not be buying another Laifen toothbrush now or ever. Save your money and go with a more reliable brand that actually cares about customers after the sale. This company is a joke. 1/5 stars – the product might brush okay, but the durability and support make it a total waste.

2nd time the charm?
I was invited to try the latest, redesigned Laifen Wave Electric Toothbrush for free since I had previously purchased their hairdryer (Laifen Swift Special) and first gen Wave. The Laifen has a side to side oscillation with a long headed brush. The Laifen comes with 3 different types of brushes, and I’ve only really used the whitening brush. I don’t know how much of a difference the brushes actually make in terms of their labels (ultra-whitening, gum care, super clean). I appreciate the features of being able to adjust the vibration intensity, swing amplitude, and swing speed. I typically only adjust up or down on the intensity depending on how sensitive my gums are feeling since this toothbrush is seriously powerful! If you're new to electric toothbrushes, start low and slow. Laifen Toothbrushes have made a HUGE difference since I made the switch in December in consistently having whiter, cleaner teeth. My teeth consistently have that “just came from a professional dental cleaning” smoothness to them and are whiter. My gums felt a little sore at first, but have gotten more used to it with time. Adjusting the levels from the brush continues to be impossible on the new model as on the old, but the app is really user friendly, plus you can see the battery level and customize the levels using the app. So now the user beware: 1)The last brush I got in December. I was extremely excited and delighted by the product, as you can see from my original review in December. My toothbrush worked as expected, and I was thrilled with the battery life of the product which made it great to travel with, only having to charge it twice between December and April. At the end of April, I was invited to try this latest model and said yes. The next day was the first time I had opened the app since January. Upon doing so, my old toothbrush battery went from 50% to 0%. I thought this was a little odd, but I plugged in my original toothbrush to charge overnight. The next morning, the toothbrush not only did not charge, but it no longer "wakes up", turns on, or charges at all. It's as if it self-destructed after connecting to the app for the first time in months. While I'm certainly happy that there was a new brush already on its way, I am really unhappy with the lifespan of the original product, which lasted only 4 months. We'll see how the new one goes. 2) They still ship this brush standard with the hard as a rock toothbrush heads that are unpleasant when they knock your teeth. They do sell "comfort heads", but the standard heads I really try hard not to let the backs hit my teeth when brushing.

Amazing Brush
I’ve had the same Philips Sonicare toothbrush for over a decade and never felt the need to replace it. The Sonicare was reliable, got the job done, and newer products lacked any features compelling enough to upgrade. As long as they sold replacement heads, I was going to use the thing until it died, which might have been another decade. But the Laifen was the first brush that actually caught my attention and got me to consider retiring the old Sonicare. This thing is great! Build quality, performance, and price are definitely strong points when comparing it to other options, especially the newer Sonicare products. The fact that basic replacement heads aren’t $40 a pack is a huge positive. The oscillating brush head was a little weird to get used to but it feels like it does more to clean than the vibrations alone. The app integration allowing for customization of the modes and intensity of the oscillation speed is nice, and the fact that it isn’t required for use is very good. The Apple aesthetic that Laifen was going for seemed a little silly, but definitely holds up after having used the product. It’s packaged exactly like an iPhone and even lacks a wall adapter! I hope that I can get another 10+ years out of this and have nothing but good things to say about it, though I do wish it came with a travel case or cover for the bristle heads.

Solid build - great battery life - Good cleaning results
I'm a big fan of Apple products, in part due to the quality of the workmanship and the way they look so when I say this toothbrush could easily pass for an Apple product, I'm saying a lot. The construction is solid. It feels good to handle it. The combination of oscillation and vibration is a great idea and works really well. Battery life has been great so far. I've had the toothbrush for over a month now and the charge indicator doesn't show any signs of it being discharged. One thing I would change, at least in the brush head I've been using is the metallic cover (the part covering the bristles). When that touches my teeth, it feels like when the dentist hits them with their mirror (don't know why they do that). I highly recommend this product.

Updated Review; All Works Well
Update 4/17/2025: The seller contacted me about the toothbrush that was inoperable and graciously sent me a new Titanium toothbrush. It worked on arrival and so far there have been no issues with its operation. My son's stainless steel toothbrush has worked with no issue as well since we purchased it. Based on performance and the excellent customer service from the seller, I have revised my rating. There is something to be said for a company that stands behind their product. The toothbrush is great if you actually get one that works. We purchased two, one for my son and one for myself. So far, my son's works fine, but mine was dead on arrival. While it was plugged in to charge there is just a flashing purple light, so I left it on the charger for over 24 hours. Unplugged it and nothing, it will not turn on. Even tried using the app to get it to turn on to no avail. I did some research on the internet and found a number of reviews with the same issue. I think perhaps there was too much time and attention spent of aesthetics instead of quality. Sorry, but I do not recommend this toothbrush.

Consumer Rights Concern – Premium Product With Unacceptable Durabilit
Final update – extremely disappointing experience: This case clearly shows how Laifen handles product failures and customers. The toothbrush stopped working shortly after the end of the warranty. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue privately, no meaningful support was provided. Only after I posted a negative public review did Laifen finally respond. Their response was unacceptable. Instead of replacing the defective unit with the same premium stainless steel model I originally purchased, Laifen sent a lower-end SE model, made with inferior materials and features. This downgrade was imposed, not negotiated. Even more concerning, Laifen explicitly refused to provide any warranty for the replacement unit. Sending a replacement with zero warranty coverage strongly suggests that the company does not stand behind the durability or reliability of its own products. This is especially troubling considering that Laifen products are sold on Amazon with advertised warranties of up to 24 months. Although the replacement brush heads I had previously purchased are technically compatible with the SE model, this does not change the core issue: the original product failed prematurely, and the replacement provided is unsupported and downgraded. Summary of facts: • Product failed shortly after warranty expiration • No proactive support until a negative review was posted • Replacement was a downgraded model • Replacement came with no warranty This is not a premium experience. It reflects poor durability, reactive customer service, and a lack of accountability. I will not purchase any Laifen products again, nor would I recommend this brand to anyone considering a long-term investment in an electric toothbrush. ——————————- I purchased the Laifen Wave stainless steel electric toothbrush, a premium-priced product, with the reasonable expectation that it would last for several years under normal use. Instead, the device failed only days after the 12-month warranty expired and is now completely unusable. The failure is not isolated. The toothbrush repeatedly stops working and, while placed on the charger, shows three solid LEDs with a pink blinking light, which clearly indicates a charging or battery management system failure. Despite being on the charger, the device does not turn on or function in any way. I contacted Laifen customer support requesting a repair or replacement. Despite the failure occurring immediately after the warranty period and presenting a clear hardware defect, no meaningful support was provided. The company refused repair or replacement and instead suggested purchasing another unit, including offering a lower-end plastic model, which is not equivalent to the stainless steel version originally purchased. Because the toothbrush is completely unusable, I am also left with unused replacement brush heads that I purchased separately, which are now worthless. This represents an additional financial loss caused directly by the premature failure of the device. For a sealed product with a non-replaceable battery, this response places the entire cost of premature failure on the consumer. A premium electric toothbrush should meet basic durability and longevity expectations, and this product clearly does not. Based on this experience, Laifen products appear overpriced, poorly supported, and designed with limited longevity. I will never purchase another Laifen product and strongly advise consumers to avoid this brand.

Amazing Toothbrush with a Premium Feel
From the moment you open the Laifen electric toothbrush, you can tell it’s something special. The packaging is fantastic—like opening an Apple product—and sets the stage for what’s inside. The toothbrush looks and feels high-end with its stainless steel finish. It has a nice weight to it that makes it feel really premium in your hand. As for cleaning, the Laifen does an incredible job. The combination of its oscillation and vibration cleans my teeth much better than any Oral-B electric toothbrush I’ve used. My teeth feel extra clean after every use. The app is simple to use, though it could be improved by showing the battery percentage. Overall, this is the best toothbrush I’ve ever bought and well worth the investment!

great price to performance ratio
I have a top tier sonicare toothbrush and this blows it out of the water. Better quality, function, and aesthetics. The length is about the same as a conventional toothbrush and it’s very powerful (if you want it to be - by changing speeds and/or customizing it on the app). The quality and function of this can easily be worth the retail price of commercial premium electric brushes made by Phillips and Oral-B but it’s actually cheaper (and as mentioned, better). It’s also very sturdy and doesn’t need to be charged often. Would recommend it to anyone and it would definitely make a great gift.

Great Toothbrush
I really love this toothbrush, from the packaging, the ease of use, the app and the charging cord. It’s well designed and it’s great you can put it into airplane mode for taking on trips. The packaging it comes in reminds me of Apple packaging, it’s fun to open it. I also like that there are different brush heads that you can choose from and different programming on the app. All in all a great product.
