Great toothpicks
I depend upon these plastic tooth picks to keep my gums clean. I've had gingivitis and my gums cut down to where there are gaps at the base of many of my teeth. There really allow me to get food particles out easily.

These are some of my most favorite floss picks. Each edge has a different tip to help get food out of your teeth. They're also a nice size to put in your pocket, purse, or fanny pack. If you find yourself getting food stuck in between your teeth and you're constantly using your tongue to try to get it out, this is the pick for you
