I recently purchased this solid brass emergency whistle and overall I am impressed with its performance and practicality. Right out of the box it is exceptionally loud—much more powerful than I expected for something so small. Its made of brass. I use it as a keychain with a brass chain, hanging from brass hardware. It fits quite well color-wise. The whistle works. Its quite loud and hurt my own ears even with just normal puffs. It doesnt take much to produce sound. I tried doing it softly and it still worked. Idk why a lot of reviews state otherwise. Would definitely purchase again

I am very happy with my emergency whistle purchase. It is hefty, and appears to be well made. It is loud. The size, in my opinion, is perfect. I am enjoying how the brass is aging, with exposure to air and my handling of the surface. The engraving of the brand name (?) is not an issue to me - it is not very noticeable and I expect it will blend in with the texture of the brass in a very short time.

Looks cute. It’s not a heavy or bulky, athletic whistle so easy to carry on a keychain. You do have to be mindful to not cover the blowhole or it distorts the alarm so not a good safety/alarm system. I use it at recess on a lanyard.

Not as loud as some whistles ....but great quality and NGL it's pretty cool!!!

Can be heard at least 500m away through thick bush

The ring dropped out at the top. Can be easily reclamped tight. Love that it's brass. I have a thing for whistles :) handy on your keyring for possible emergency situations .

If you need a brass whistle then this wont disappoint. It is quite small however perfect for my model steam engine.

Super tiny but so loud! Piercing really. My dog can’t pretend she didn’t hear this one. Does not come with a lanyard.
