It is not oily at all. It is heavy and creamy, so I use only a tiny amount. It moisturizes enough and dries very quickly in a minute or two. It does have a scent. It doesn’t smell good, but it doesn’t have a very bad smell because it dries very quickly with no smell at all once it dries in a minute or so. My dermatologist told me to use it because of the sunscreen, so that’s the reason I do. I’ve been using it for years. I only use it during the day under makeup. Whatever light smell it has goes away the second it dries. If it smelled really terrible once it dried and it was oily, I could not stand it, so I would not be able to use it. I can’t stand anything that smells or is oily. I will not use any make up either that has any odor at all. However, I don’t wear the one without sunscreen at night because that one does smell, ugh. I just use the one with the sunscreen during the day under my make up.

I’ve become a Cereve fan over the past year! I bought this to try and add sunscreen in with moisturizing and I love it. It doesn’t have a white cast and is easily absorbed. Works well with moisturizing my skin even with my skin type. I don’t have any skin irritation and it’s lightweight just how they promote it! Only complaint is the bottle size for the amount, but once you start using it you realize that you don’t need to pump out that much and it’s long lasting!

I’ve been using the CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 30 for a few weeks now, and there’s a lot to appreciate. I love that it combines a broad-spectrum SPF with daily moisturizing and includes key ingredients like ceramides and hyaluronic acid. It’s perfect for mornings when I’m short on time — one step for both sun protection and a light moisturizer. The texture is lightweight, non-greasy, and layers well under makeup or alone for a natural finish. That said, if you have very dry or flaky skin, you might find it isn’t quite enough as your sole moisturizer. While it does a decent job keeping things comfortable and smooth, I noticed that by late afternoon my skin felt a touch tight in some drier zones and could use an additional richer product. For everyday use in moderate or mildly dry skin types, it works wonderfully. But if I were in a colder climate or had more severe dryness, I’d pair it with a richer cream in the evening or apply a richer serum beneath it in the morning. All in all, a solid pick for daily use that covers both protection and hydration — just adjust for your dryness level.

Feels great on my face and moisturizes well without leaving an oily feeling. The added spf is also a huge plus. It has no smell to it and is noncomodegenic so works well on sensitive skin.

I absolutely love this moisturizer! It helps moisturize my skin everyday before heading out of the house, and keeps it feeling nourished, especially after I've washed my face. It's lightweight, but if you apply too much, it can look greasy and leave a whitish appearance. The pump is also great; just lightly press on it and you'll get a good amount on your finger. Would highly recommend!

I really wanted to love this because the regular CeraVe moisturizer without SPF works amazing for my skin. Unfortunately, this one didn’t live up to my expectations. It leaves a noticeable white residue that just doesn’t blend well, and when I wear it under makeup, it makes my skin look like it’s peeling or flaking. I ended up really disappointed and won’t be purchasing it again

I purchased this at a recommendation of my dermatologist. It works very well and last quite a long time. I think the only drawback for me is the price. It is with pricey, but it works very well.
