Balega Blister Resist Performance Crew Athletic Running Socks for Men and Women

I've purchased different socks from Balega before, but these are their absolute best! Love the quarter crew because it protects your ankles from any potential blisters while still being short. These have excellent support and does the job from running, to casual, to even basketball. So far, they've been durable with machine washing and air drying. Size is as described. Need more pairs of these versatile socks!

Balega are the best! I am very prone to blisters on my feet and these prevented all of the normal hot spots. I really like that there is padding on the areas of the foot that tend to have the most friction. They are lightweight, true to size, and the height of the sock was just right for hiking boots. I wouldn’t say that these are great with resisting odor, but I have never had problems upon washing. These also don’t really compress, so there may be better alternatives if you need that. Balega is some of the more expensive socks I’ve bought, but I believe they’re worth it to maintain a blister-free, active life!

First I bought some generic three pack of blister prevention type socks and they were the price of one pair of these Balega socks. The three pack was super thin and slippery feeling in my shoes and pretty much did nothing a Walmart sock couldn’t do. These Balega socks on the other hand are a complete game changer. I’m buying more now not just for hiking and running and stuff but for simply when I’ll be on my feet all day and walking a lot too. I feel like you could wear wooden shoes with these socks and they would feel like a good pair of sneakers. They’re expensive at least they are to me but they’re also worth every penny. I wish this was a paid promotion but it’s not lol

My husband always bought cheap Hanes socks. I introduced him to Balega with one pair. He was hooked and wanted more for his birthday. I bought him six more pairs and he raves about these all the time. He's on his feet all day working at the airport and he said that the socks are so comfortable that when he comes home and takes them off, he doesn't have that moment of "I'm so glad my socks are off." he looks forward to wearing them every day. They wash beautiful and come out like they were new.

Not quite blister resist, but still a really nice sock! 3.5 stars. I tried these on a through hike alongside Balega Enduro (basically the same sock but thinner), wearing them with Brooks cascadia shoes for about 8-14 mile days on varied terrain. They were great til I got hot and my feet sweat a lot. These definitely are amazingly cushiony and I didn’t get any blisters— til my feet started getting saturated with sweat, and the thickness of the socks didn’t allow them to dry quickly or evenly, inside my shoes or when pinned to the outside of my pack. However, the blisters I did get were smaller and way more manageable than with any other type of sock, and after I covered the blisters, the cushion of these socks was very welcome. So even if you do get blisters with these, it might be a better situation than another sock? Overall these still work great for other purposes and shorter hikes on colder days, and these would probably be ideal to wear with boots. Also my feet sweat quite a lot, so if you’re not on a long hike with very sweaty feet you might expect better results for the blister resist part. They’ve held up nicely in the laundry and have had no issues with pilling, the seam and weave are all tight and high quality. Good value for the money.

These socks are incredible ! They are $60 for 3 pairs but they are worth every cent ! I work at a restaurant and I have to walk around a lot and these socks are really amazing and really prevent blisters !

I’ve been running for just over a year and I’m so mad at myself for not investing in the blister resist socks sooner. I probably could have avoided a ton of issues if I had. But better late than never! Now that I’m running longer distances and higher weekly volume I started developing blisters at the end of my second toe on each foot. I ended up losing the toenail on both toes too. I’ve tried other brands but none had as much cushioning as the Balegas and I just had THE best run of my life in these. No exaggeration, I set a PR and everything. I won’t wear anything else from now on. 10/10, 5 stars, would recommend to anyone!! I just wish they had more crew/mid-crew options.

A while ago, I ordered a pair of socks but already noticed that both socks are for the left foot. Is there any way I can order two right socks? 🙂 They might be from a returned order without packaging.
