Delicious and worth it
I enjoyed every bite of it. I tried this cheese in one of cruise tours in Norway. I bought a different brand at a supermarket during the tour, and have been craving it. I like mine straight from the chilled refrigerator with crackers or alone. I am glad I found this brand and vendor, small and pricey but worth it.

A little goes a long way!
Soooooo gooooood it’s irresistible! The best cheese I ever had! I wouldn’t call it sweet but it does have a caramel like smooth taste with a tiny bit of bite. It arrived in perfect condition and very fresh. It is a big chunk of cheese that last a while because a small piece is all you’ll need to be satisfied because it is very dense and takes a while to eat since you allow it to melt slightly as you eat it. I eat it all by itself because it is too good just by itself and doesn’t need any other help! I opened it 2 weeks ago and it still hasn’t gone bad.

Great cheese but get it from someplace with a cooler.
Zero stars because it arrived inedible. It was in a plastic bag tied with a loose knot, in an Amazon cardboard box. No insulation, no cold pack, just oil leaking all over the place. And soft, melting, old cheese that had been in transit for who knows how long. I've had this cheese before, and it's unique and incredible, but this site is not the place to buy it. Unless you want to roll the dice on eating old, hot, goat's milk. Personally that's a hard pass.

If you know you know, so delicious
This is most definitely an acquired taste. It is more of a sweet than savory “cheese”. It is not the kind of cheese most of us think of, it is not aged. It is a fresh cheese. I love it for my tea break, a cream biscuit with a bit of this. Yes I do it eat traditionally with my waffles, but I have also added it to a meat sandwich. I favor having a bit of sweet with meat, an English thing I think. This will last a while, as you do thin slices, in the refrigerator wrapped up tight.

Its a Norwegian cheese Americans would be accused of making.
Not my thing, gave it a try, the flavor was weird very sweet for a cheese, but the texture is what put me off it felt dry and moist at the same time in my mouth, and I'm not willing to spend more on a cheese I'm not sure about already, to see if its the fact the cheese had sweated through the amazon box, meaning it had been heated a bit above room temp before I received it

refrigerate immediately when it arrives; consider less pricey cheeses
I'm glad this arrived in a winter month, because there was no cooling pack. The wrapper was oily and the cheese softer than expected. There was an ink smear where I would have expected a "best used by" date, which did not appear anywhere. I called and was able to confirm a month left on the shelf life. I placed the cheese in the fridge and found it became more pleasant as it cooled and hardened. The taste mildly smoky with a hint of caramel, but overall, this cheese was not memorable so therefore I would consider it overpriced and not buy again.

Norwegian it has to be good
How do you describe something so delicious. Sweet soft texture, not overly salty, just so darn good. Don’t let the color fool you. It’s was my 102 year old Swedish mother’s favorite. We drove 35 miles to purchase it. Just saying: when a Swede omits she likes Norwegian cheese you know it good. Njuta!
