I was looking to replace my old hairdressing apron after about more than a decade of use. After having previously used it professionally, I wanted a high quality replacement... even if I wasn't willing to pay a high-quality price. I bought this unit skeptically but was pleasantly surprised. The stitching is perfect (at least on the visible side) and I found no significant flaws in the quality or stitching whatsoever. The "arm" exits are well made and conveniently placed. The neck closure is by far my favorite. It's much better than velcro, button or any other method. I really wish all capes had it. As far as one recommendation, I'd definitely urge you to consider applying a waterproofing spray to it. Not only will it make it more stain and water resistant, but it also gave the fabric a bit of weight making it feel like a thicker, higher quality material. Definitely worth it. All in all, this was a good buy. It's not really luxury professional quality, but for the home gamer it's definitely as good as is worth paying for. I'm happy with my purchase.

I ordered the purple cape, and it is beautiful! Not too feminine, and not too masculine, so I feel it is universal. I love the hooks, but really appreciate the subtle gathering around the neckline. I have not used it yet, but I believe this is better than snaps or Velcro. I really like the length, and appreciate the hand openings. The hair will shed well from the material and protect my clients well.

For home use, it's great. Might be a little annoying if you're trying to use it in a professional setting. Very long in the front, the back I will agree just covers the shoulders. We used it earlier tonight on me for a bleaching, and we ended up putting in on backwards as my hair is very long. It works, but it takes being willing to turn it around. There's also no tag on it to see how they recommend you wash it. Came here hoping for answers, and found none. The clasp is not my favorite, but if you're looking for a quality product for home use I would recommend. Bought the purple color shifting cape and it's beautiful. I'd buy another for home use. The stuff I mentioned isn't a deal breaker for my home use.... business maybe.

These are beautiful and functional hair cutting capes. The colors are beautiful and made out good materials. I have ordered several and they look good after regular washing. The closure is great, it is adjustable for any size person.
