WHY have I never had one of these?? My dog is 9! Absolutely fantastic. Super easy to clean which I was worried about. The tiny bits the dog leaves just rinse out then you can wash as normal. I was going to get a bigger one as my dog is huge, but she was panting when she finished this small one so it's actually the perfect size. Just make sure to tell your puppers it is a LICK mat not a DRAG BOTTOM TEETH THROUGH THE NUBS mat! (See video!) My girl is very strong and she didn't manage to bite or scrape off any of said nubs. I'm so happy with this, I'm going to buy another for when I freeze this one in the summer. Fab!

LickiMats are part of my dog's wind-down routine — every evening, she gets a spread of bone broth and mushed veggies, and settles in for a calm, contented lick-session. The texture keeps her engaged without rushing, and it’s been brilliant for slowing down her eating. She’s totally focused while using it, which also makes it a great little mental workout before bedtime. Easy to clean (you can pop them in the dishwasher, but I find that makes them bend a little - I prefer to wash with a brush), and the size is just right for a light supper. If your dog enjoys a bit of evening ritual or needs help slowing down at mealtimes, this is a great addition. My dog gives it full tail wags.

The dogs love these mats and you can spread any soft treats on them which is quite cost effective too. HOWEVER once they've licked most of the treat off they have to be watched carefully as they naturally start to chew them - lost the corner off one of mine as they are quite thin and easy to destroy! Also my little chap picks his up and carries it off to chew in private! Lost one altogether! Easy to clean after soaking in soapy water and rinsing. Would be good if someone made a ball with likimat texture so it would be more chew proof :) However good value for money if you're careful!!

I saw this advertised on Instagram so I looked on amazon and they sold one. So I thought I must buy one straight away and well I am glad I did! Firstly, I have a puppy so she has a lot of energy which is hard at night when you are tired but she just wants to play. But this product works to distract her which is helpful at times! It is quite durable as she has not yet managed to break it however with her growing teeth I do not think it will be long! It is quite hard to clean though, I place a tea spoon of peanut butter and it can be quite to hard scrape it off. But all in all it is a good product and would recommend to anyone who wishes to distract their dog or keep them busy!

I have two mini dachshunds and they can be a bit yappy in the evening, particularly our youngest one, who is 10 months old. So I was looking for something to distract them for a short time and bought two of these. These luck mats have been a real hit with both dogs, I’ve used them with a dog pate and peanut butter and they love sitting licking these things. Unfortunately the younger if the two dogs very quickly bit large chunks of the side of the mat. It does say not to leave them unattended, but she very quickly managed to cause the damage. This might be more to do with her being a young dog, but just a slight word of warning if your dog chews things these might not last long. My older dog has not chewed the mat and it does distract them for a good 15 minutes, with just a small amount of treat. They’re a bit tricky to clean (need to use a brush), but I don’t think there’s much they could do to change this, as it’s just down to having all the wee bumps the dogs like. Anyway for the money thus is a good product and I’ll probably buy more when my sausage dog inevitably destroys the current ones.

It does the job

This is a great invention. It arrived and is a bit underwhelming it’s ultimately a piece of silicone. However, my dog loves it. She gets no treats as she is on a very strict diet for health reasons. Occasionally she is allowed some yoghurt for her stomach and this makes it more enjoyable for her so she feels like it is a real treat. It takes her a surprisingly long time to eat a small amount off this and keeps her occupied which is good if you’re off to work or need to get in with something. I think it’d be ideal if you have an anxious dog to distract them when you’re leaving. Handy for yoghurt/peanut butter anything messy like that and it cleans and dries so quickly and easily. Really simple thing that provides good entertainment and keeps them focussed for a while

Excellent at keeping my puppy entertained for 5/10 minutes. It's very engaging for her and is a good way for her to calm down after we've just finished playing or charging around outside. I used peanut butter on it (but please make sure there's no sweetners and palm oil in it, ideally just peanuts) and intend to put her wet food on it too. Never leave your puppy alone with it and it isn't very durable - that's the nature of the product though and is clearly explained in the description. Buy a cheap toothbrush - it's excellent for cleaning it off, otherwise can be a bit tricky!

Acheté pour occuper mon chien lorsqu'il va rester seul un peu longtemps, il suffit de tartiner une vache qui rit ou de la patée dessus et il s'occupe pendant une bonne vingtaine de minutes, ensuite il est content / fatigué d'avoir léché tous les recoins jusqu'au dernier millimètre de fromage, et va se reposer. Notre chien n'a pas tenté de manger le tapis après, il l'a transporté dans une autre pièce et la laissé, pas de trace de machonnage non plus (et pas de tentative quand nous avons testé le jouet en sa présence) C'est une bonne alternative au tapis renifleur et autre jouet du même type ! Le chien est distrait le temps que vous partez et n'y pense plus après. ATTENTION, cela ne remplace en rien un "entrainement" à rester seul, mais c'est une aide efficace, et ça donne aux propriétaires la conscience plus sereine de se dire que son chien va être occupé et ensuite se reposer plutôt que de tourner en rond dès que l'on franchit le pas de la porte.

My experience has been that I prefer this product because there is one nib design. My 42 lb Dingo does not get frustrated by multiple designs, and it results in a constant soothing, licking process until she is finished. Then she generally will take a short nap before we go out. I give it to her a while after she has had breakfast and we have been out for her first walk. I am 76 years old, have had many dogs over my life, my grandfather was a veterinarian, so I am not new to how to feed, train, reward and have a happy dog.

This has helped keep our puppy busy for a good amount of time. Good quality material. The only thing is it has warped a little after a few uses - not sure if that's from washing under hot water. Other than that, for the price, it's great.

Smear a little peanut butter on it and freeze. My dog is kept busy while I have a work call, plus the act of licking is very calming for dogs.
