Excited
Latest Update: 5/22/2024A week ago, today my quail hatched. Of 14 eggs, 12 Hatched. I am not sure what happened with the other eggs that didn't hatch but it seems they just stopped developing. Out of the 12 quail that hatch, 2 passed. I now have 10, very hyper and eating machines of baby quail. lol. I have learned so much so far, such as you're going to want to grind up your quail food a bit more than it comes to help them be able to eat it. I purchased a coffee grinder from Walmart and just processed it all down. They love it and eat a lot each day. My quail are even growing in their wing feathers now which is really interesting to watch. A couple of them were hatched with curled toes...don't freak out if you see this. It could simply be the size of the shell, or even the humidity in your incubator. But I didn't have to do anything special, and their toes straightened right out in a couple days. Over all, I am very satisfied with this seller and the eggs I got. I feel I had a very successful hatch rate. I will more than likely purchase again in the future once I gain my skills a bit more with what I have.Update: May 11th 2024Today is day 14. So lock down day. Some of my eggs are wiggling and I have also candled all eggs and all 14 eggs have developed properly so far. No dead eggs and no unfertilized. Today I took out the egg turner that turns the eggs every two hours, and I placed paper towel down on the bottom of the incubator and placed all eggs back in, put the humidity to 65, and now we wait. So far so good. Now let's see how many hatches and how many survive the first 48 hours, which is the most important time for baby quail. Will update more to come.(04/27/2024) My eggs arrived all nicely wrapped. I was very careful when removing all the packing stuff so as not to accidentally break them. I checked all eggs, not a single one was damaged. I have them in an incubator that auto turns them every 2 hours. It also has the ability to keep the humidity in the proper zone and an alarm will sound if it goes to much out of range for temp and humidity. I will update when they hatch but so far so good.

Very low hatch rate
The order took approximately one week to arrive. Upon receipt, I allowed the eggs to rest for the recommended 24 hours before incubation. Prior to placing them in the incubator, I candled the eggs and noticed that many appeared to have detached or stuck yolks, as the contents did not move properly when the eggs were gently rotated.Despite these concerns, I incubated all 37 eggs. On Day 7, I candled them again and removed several eggs that showed no signs of development. Additional eggs were difficult to assess due to shell color and thickness, so I left them in the incubator. At lockdown, I performed a final candling and removed more eggs that showed either no development or failed development. After opening the unhatched eggs, it became apparent that the vast majority were either infertile or had never developed beyond the yolk stage. Out of 37 eggs, only two chicks successfully hatched. The remaining eggs showed little to no development, making it clear that fertility was extremely poor.I understand that shipping can impact hatch rates, but this level of loss is far beyond what would be expected. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing from this company. The hatch rate was disappointing, and the overall outcome made this purchase feel like a significant waste of money. Unfortunately, after reading similar experiences from other customers, I have little confidence that concerns like these will be addressed.

Hang in there, your pips will hatch soon!
I ordered on May 8, 2026. They are 12 in total but there are 2 extra quail eggs. They arrived on May 13, we gave them a rest and set up the incubator for them. That same day we put them in the incubator, we candelled we saw that you can see inside that 6 have become firm and the others you can see that they have veins. It has been 19 days since we bought them. but they have been in the incubator for 14 days. so will see the next chapter. I will update on here later.Updated! It has been more than 21 days, and only one egg has hatched. The others tried to hatch, but all progress stopped after 24 hours. It is okay, though we know there is nothing we can do about it now. This is our first time experiencing this, but it was still so exciting to watch the eggs you cared for in the incubator. We are leaving a positive review because we know this is just nature. I do not want a refund since this is live poultry production, not a regular item. You did your best! Thank you….

Not the best.
So I ordered a couple months back and this was my first try at hatching quail eggs. I received 14 eggs and right of the bat on day 7 only 9 were fertile. Once lock down came around I followed their Instruction card and what not and at the end of the hatch only 7 made it two eggs were fully developed but they just never hatched and died in the shell. Once the hatched chick’s started growing on day three one died and I was left with 6. Once they started to grow everything seemed ok until I noticed one of them had a deformity unfortunately her spine was curved and she couldn’t produce eggs so we ended up culling her. Also I ended up with one male which was super difficult to feather sex due to alot of speckles on his chest and he was very aggressive so we had to cull as well. So in the end I am left with 4 females. After this whole experience I thought maybe I did something wrong, but I ended up ordering from another seller and I had a 90% hatch rate and I would say the quality of the birds from the other seller were a lot higher the eggs were larger and the birds in general seemed healthier. I’m wondering if there is maybe alot of inbreeding and it’s caused some issues and a weak offspring.

They lost electricity but shipped eggs anyway
I received the eggs well packed but after I open the box I read a note that was sent with them saying that they had lost electricity and the eggs might not be good, if that was the case they should have never sent them out but I went ahead and set them anyway. Six of the 12 eggs hatched but only lived a few hours they never stood they did not seem right even though the thermostat and the humidity was correct and I'd never had any problems with it before I believe they were just weak from the non-refrigeration and shipping so I lost all of them. Six of the eggs were not even hatchableUpdate unfortunately the quails that hatched all passed away within 2 days none could get up and really walk even though I followed instructions and had raised quail before.

100 percent recommend! Perfect packaging and hatch rate!!!
I was very sceptical about hatch rate. 11 of 13 beautiful skittles hatched, and all are doing fabulous. All adults and all thriving. Also super cute and fun. see crooked rooster on fb for videos. this won't let me upload videos...

The eggs were securely packed in a well-cared-for box with foam insulation.I ordered a dozen eggs, five of which hatched and 2 died in their shells, while the remaining five were unfertilized.Baby quails are adorable, healthy, and highly active.

13/14 Hatched Healthy Happy Huggable!
I only ordered 12. Night 16 around midnight started hatching until about 7pm when 13 hatched. 14th did not grow at all. Physically healthy and happy very friendly and cuddly, a little timid. First egg hatching, but I do have some experience with rodents.I just followed the daily bread guide closely.Eggs arrived on time and by delivery instructions. I let rest for about 7 nights point downwards until incubator came.Eggs looked good and neat, but one appeared to have a pin hole. Might be the 14th egg.Early issues:eggs got wet for a min andhumidity was high for 48-72 hrs (new egg Hatcher, $30 12 egg rotating with air flow).Good for price but no door so when I opened quail scattered 2 fell, 1 limped for a while but seemed to recover quickly.I would definitely repurchase. Good eggs. Good Looking hatchling quails.Scored low because of the evil spirits messing everything up. Website pictures are out of focus/synch, people and quail possessed. Literally. All animals in My vicinity are demon possessed. Amazon website does not work in a user friendly pattern. Algorithms are functioning against Me. Opposite would be a good way to describe it. (Evil spirits reprogrammed it.) I would know I’m a mental health specialist and ranking member of church. Most of y’all don’t seem to want to fix the important stuff. After the demons are dealt with and the people who harbor them, I can potentially improve review. But eggs are good, I mean 13/12. 14th was opened on 20th night and was all liquid (they give 2 extra and have a gaurentee). All 13 quail did well initially but died quickly in brooder from cold. 95F Hot spots weren’t enough for the tiny chicks. A few managed to survive and the brooder setup improved.Hottest spot is around 105+ F. They are much happier and healthier. I would recommend a very warm brooder temp. Their flight feathers should be in soon.

Package arrived with 3 broken eggs, had to pay a duty fee I was unaware of. Costing me 140 dollars all together and lastly none of the eggs hatched. Requested a refund with no response. Waste of money will not buy again.
