Great price, easy set up, flashy packaging. All great. Performance-not so much. These translator earbuds worked perfectly when translating English to Spanish. When translating Spanish to English, they only functioned about 5% of the time. They would just repeat in Spanish what was said in Spanish. So disappointed.

I was going on vacation to another country and I didn't speak the native language fluently I started feeling kind of anxious about interacting with locals. One of my friends suggested that I look into these earbuds. Amazing I wasn't sure how well they would work but the translation is seamless and let me talk with everyone in a very natural way. It helped make my trip even more memorable.

My boyfriend’s family speaks Amharic and I wanted to at least slightly understand the conversation so he didn’t always need to translate. So I bought these. Unfortunately- even when it was just me and him speaking into it- it didn’t translate well at all. The accuracy in what he said was not there. Hopefully we can use these with more well-known languages, but if you are buying it for Amharic- not worth it. Wish it would have been better.

I was skeptical as to how well these ear bids would work but I turned on a Netflix movie to give them a dry run. They worked well, especially when the conversations weren't quick exchanges. These will be very helpful on my upcoming trip to Costa Rica, I will be driving there and will need to interact with people that will most likely not speak English. I feel much more confident going there with these earbuds!

I recently traveled to Brazil, and do not speak Portuguese at all.... I used these and they did great!! In my opinion easier than Google translate, and at least as effective if not better, and the "free speak" mode is amazing!!! I was having full conversations with friends without having to type every word in a translator. My only complaint is I wish they had a wider "offline" offering

I was very excited to receive this and it worked very well when we tested it and for 3 days thereafter. By the end of the third day it was significantly translating incorrectly. Your environment needs to be almost perfect for these to be in the 90% range of correct communication and translation. I do not recommend these for music at all. I also noticed that the software that is used is also used by several including Samsung and Google on their earbuds.

Does not work as described. The interface for translation is crap, the translation is very very very slow in rela time. Having conversations with this is hard. I had to switch phones as mine died - and they wouldn't let me carry the offline language pack across. So are now asking me to pay a lot more money so I can access the functions I have already paid for. It's $99 USD to get packs back.
