Enchanted Forest: 20 Postcards

These are beautifully designed very intricate postcards, good size, really lovelly to colour maybe too good to give away, very relaxing to fill in, have only done 1 so far, may give them to other people to colour, really nice to pass around, thanks for filling my order.

I saw this in a shop and retailing for £9.99 and couldn't justify buying it, even as a gift (as it was intended). To have found it via Amazon at a price I can afford (even with the addition of p&p) was a real joy, and so are the post cards. Not only are the pictures all unique, the designs are very different from one and another. Hence, there is nothing dull, boring or samey about this little post card book. The post cards are made of thick, strong and obviously good quality white card. The binding is solid and the design of the whole thing is plain enchanting. What a sweet, simple idea and creative means of sending postcards and thank yous. After all, colouring the images before posting the cards proves and shows the thought, time and effort gone into the messages being given. Real lovely little book of post cards and genius idea. Plus, super fast delivery, arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. Couldn't ask for more.

High quality postcards. I enjoy adult colouring and the small pictures add to the challenge. Mostly used felt tip fine liner pens. Helped pass a day or two during the lockdown and sent to loved ones during this time to cheer them up.

The pictures are lovely but they are small so require a deal of precision so possibly not suitable for all children. Otherwise they are great. Will continue to colour them in and send out.

I love this format of colouring, they are the perfect size to colour on good quality card and easy to remove once completed, I hope more are made as postcards as its great fun to set a challenge to friends of sending them blank and seeing what comes back, or just on holiday as a rainy day treat for children who can then send to family members. I just want to see more postcard versions of the book designs!

I love these postcards and the secret garden ones. I found artist crayons to be better than felt tips but also nice with gel, metal or glitter pens. Felt tip pens tend to leak and spread on the picture. My daughter asked me why I got the postcards and I told her to send to friends or family to let them know I was thinking of them or just to give a message. My daughter commented it is easier to send an email to tell someone you are thinking of them. I explained that the person receiving the postcard would appreciate more and it would mean more to them due to the effort of colouring the picture in as they would realise a lot of thought and love went into it. So far I have done four of them and each of them has made the recipients happy. One of the details on the pictures is a little smaller than the bigger book such as the bird and mouse on the gates with two gargoyles on. However on the gate I did in gold glitter pen and the effect is stunning. On the boat with in a circle I found doing the sales in glitter gold's orange and greens more effective than just greens on their own and stand out more in glitter compared to crayons. Also put the postcard in an envelope when sending it then you prevents the post office stamp over them. I would recommend either buying two of these one for practice. One thing more at free postage and the postcards on Amazon are £6.28 this is cheaper than the £9.00 from certain high street shops.

These are fantastic, very intricate and challenge me, they look fab when they are done, the recipients of the postcards have loved them, the castles especially were great fun to do, I recommend using gel pens with a fine point for best effect, metallic colours look great.

Eu acho que o papel é bom para pintar com aquarela, mas os desenhos ficaram muito pequenos em forma de cartão postal, que é exatamente o tamanho do livrinho.

Confermo che il pacchetto è arrivato come previsto dalla tempistica Amazon! I disegni sono molto belli e per chi come me ha acquistato il libro di johanna ho apprezzato anche questi! Sono molto piccoli in fatti consiglio di utilizzare penne staedtler triplus fineliner e matite colorate per le sfumature! Impossibile utilizzare pennarelli con punta grossa! A me è piaciuto molto, oltre tutto comodo da mettere in borsa e carine le post Card che una volta colorate si possono regalare o utilizzare come biglietti d'auguri!

Postcrossing is my hobby. So when I bought this I was super duper happy. Its pricey but 200 times worth it. The drawing’s are so detailed and intense.

He comprado varios libros de postcards, y de esta misma ilustradora tengo varios y a mi parecer esta es la peor edición que han hecho. La primera diferencia es el tamaño que es de 16.5x12cm (es distinto de otros postcard de Johanna Basford). Otra gran diferencia y muy importante es que las hay algunas ilustraciones con los detalles muy pequeños por lo que son difíciles de colorear, tienes que hacerlo con fineliner y si tienes problemas de visión no te lo recomiendo. Yo lo compré para tenerlo como libro de colorear porque me gusta mucho la ilustradora y tengo casi todo de ella y con esta edición tengo sentimientos encontrados... me gusta, pero... es que hay algunas muy pequeñas!! No se... tanto para usar como postal o para libro de colorear sigo viendo los mismos inconvenientes. Mirar el vídeo y las fotos y decidir vosotros, yo en esta ocasión no se a quien si o a quien no "recomendar?"
