Its OK but temporary. I'm going to get bigger one next year and put in middle of house. Good for room its in only

Obviously the reviews are for a different product….but this is OK. It’s a bit loud and you will want a tray to put under it as it’s, well, an evaporative cooler….it comes within the territory of expectations. Thus is for placing right next to you, it won’t cool a room down much, and it won’t do it at all if you have your windows open. It will run off a power bank for a bit and you can put a decent amount of water in it. Ice will only make a very minor difference. What I do like is the tubes to draw up the water being so easily serviceable. I’m not sure this isn’t exactly the same as the ones for half the price, but I’d say it’s reasonable quality and I’d be completely unconcerned about having it running unattended. I wanted it because we are due a very hot day and I absolutely despise heat. Anything over 10 degrees just makes me ill so it’s been an awful few weeks so far. If this can take the edge off it will have served its purpose.

Was looking for something to cool down the room as there’s now fruit flies about, I can’t really leave the window open anymore. It does the job however I was expecting the fan to be a bit stronger. Had the air cooler on all night and I noticed in the morning there was a puddle underneath the air cooler. Not sure if it’s condensation or the air cooler leaking as I’ve only had it for 1 night now. It hasn’t cooled down my room but it does keep myself nice and cool at night. Overall it does it’s job.

Worked really well for two months and now everytime we used it, it sounds like we are on a fair ground, so noisy now. Seriously can not be used at all 🤦🏼‍♀️
