This paddle works great. Very light weight and durable.. There is no need for an expensive paddle when you have paddles like this.

This is a very nice replacement for my old paddle which finally bit the dust. It is well constructed, strong, and sturdy.

Basically, I was researching what makes a good paddle; lightweight and rigid are the two main components. Fiberglass is better, Carbon Fiber is best. I took a shot on this paddle because it's "fiberglass reinforced," and it is definitely a little more rigid than my cheap plastic paddles that came with the inflatable. I'm new to kayaking and I'm still figuring out my personal preferences, so I realize now why I don't like this paddle; it's without a doubt, designed for a low-angle paddling style, while I prefer a more high-angle, aggressive paddle. They will be a wider paddle that moves more water, and though that makes them harder to use, they will move you a little faster. For a recreational paddler who just wants to get out there and spend a couple hours on the water, though, you'll definitely be happy with this paddle. It's not the Cadillac of paddles but it's nice.

Used it for tubbing trips, even built a harness to carry them. Keeps me out of the trees. And I can push annoying people away. Only used it a few times so far, but will check in if the product falls apart.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this as a replacement paddle for my current kayak and it's better quality than the one I had. Very sturdy, and I particularly like the ridges on the bottom which makes for further paddling with less effort. Easy to take apart. Highly recommend.

It's nothing special, but it does the trick, the kid is happy with it, and the price is right. Since my kid cares almost as much about the color as the available feathering angles, it was a good choice.
