I will only wear this watch from now on!!
I Love this watch! What is a watch without a face and hands?! I did not want a shining computer screen or a black empty box on my wrist. I did want to be able to track my exercise, heart rate, steps, sleep, girl cycle, receive texts, and tell time without looks at a screen. This watch has modern conveniences with old school class in a modern style. The battery life is l-o-n-g. I haven’t charged in over 48hrs and have tracked my sleep, exercises, took two ecg’s, received so many texts and my battery is at 87%! Couldn’t be happier with this watch it’s my favorite accessory!

Better than I expected!
I have been searching for an android compatible smart watch for months. I really like this one. It was easy to set up and easy to use. The only drawback is that the device is constantly reminding me to tighten the watch strap. I don’t like wearing my watch tight on my wrist. The reminders are kind of annoying. Other than that, this is a great smart watch. It’s durable!

Good watch, but my piece was defective
I have owned two previous generations of the Withings Watch series. The Nokia Steel HR, and the Withings Smartwatch. I couldn't be happier with those watches. They have the functionality that make smartwatches useful without the unnecessary bells and whistles that turn them into a smartphone strapped to your wrist. The battery lasts weeks, and the watch feels solid like a traditional analog watch - the type you would wear for years and it would keep ticking along. So when the new Scanwatch 2 was announced, I decided to get an upgrade. From a functionality standpoint, it is an upgrade. The temperature sensor is great - it warns you of changes in your average temperature. The concept is brilliant - if you are about to come down with something and are alerted of this by your watch then you could preemptively take it easy - cancel workouts and appointments and maybe try to avoid the full force of the cold/flu etc. The rest is about the same with a general feel of fine tuning. Unfortunately, two days after wearing the watch, without any events (falls etc.) the crown stopped working. Pressing the crown would not turn the screen on as it should. I tried resetting the watch, updating the firmware, re-paring it with my phone but the issue appeared to be a real defect in the watch. I tried contacting Withings support. The website said that reps were available over chat, but clicking on chat just made you wait indefinitely - hours and nobody showed up. I could request a phone appointment, but the next appointment I could book was a month later. I posted in Withings online forum about my problem, expressing a willingness to help debug the issue. But I did not get a response. Moreover, I found complaints of the same problem by other customers that had gone months without an answer. Why a company would run an online forum for customers to post problems and leave it unattended is beyond me. Anyway, from my experience I concluded that the newest generation is not getting the love that the previous generations did.

Almost Perfect
I was super happy with this watch while it lasted. Having AFib and asthma, and needing to lose some weight, I want something to monitor my key heart health stats during work outs. As a health monitoring instrument, nothing outside of a doctor’s office beats the ScanWatch 2. The Apple Watch comes close (at more than twice the price) but it does not measure blood oxygen as this watch can. I researched a lot of devices and this has everything I needed. It measures pulse and heart rhythm plus SpO2. It detects irregular heart rhythms and irregular respiration during sleep. It has step counting, workout monitoring, gps tracking, and easy compatibility with iPhones. Plus the battery lasts for two weeks or more. All of that in a sleek watch face is a modern miracle. It also offers some smartwatch features that I didn’t use like notifications of phone calls and texts. The app that accompanies this watch is essential and quite well configured. I wish that Withings would drop the analog watch face and offer this with a full face digital screen. As it is, the digital screen is a tiny inset at the top of the face that is difficult to read. At the bottom of the face is another small inset “activity dial” which shows progress toward a daily goal; a less important feature in my view. So, setting aside some minor complaints, I praise theScanWatch2 as one of those rarities that does its job well and looks decent at the same time. It was great while it lasted. Unfortunately it lasted only about a year. All of the functionality is controlled by the single stem on the side of the watch, which is sensitive to pressure. Since I wore the watch on my left wrist, bending my wrist through daily activities tended to inadvertently depress the stem and over time it failed to depress any more. That’s when I found out that Withings offers no repair support, and really no support of any kind for their devices. I sent the watch to a repair specialist but the quote exceeded the original purchase price. So my warning is that this watch is somewhat delicate, and when it fails there will be no help from Withings. Knowing that, I will probably not buy this watch again, which is a shame because I really liked it.

Great..., for the most part.
It's amazing all the information I get from this watch. I am still learning how to use all the information it provides. It is a beautiful watch and seems to be working well, with one exception. The analog hands have lost time and do not keep the correct time. The digital time works fine, but the analog hands have lost about seven minutes in the few weeks I've had the watch. That is very disappointing. I need the time to be correct when I glance at the watch, without having to press the button to get the correct time on the digital window. Another thing I like about the watch is how it connects to all my health apps and pulls needed information for a daily report. So, if the analog malfunction doesn't bother you, I would say the watch is worth the money. It tracks steps, does the ECG, oxygen levels when awake and asleep, heart rate and respiration, activity levels, temperature, workouts, floors climbed, and monitors sleep quality, plus a plethora of other things.

Doesn't tell you everything in the description
Easy to use. Beautiful looking. But until I started setting it up I didn't know that I couldn't use it because of my pacemaker. The whole reason I bought it was so that I could monitor my ECG to tell me if I was in afib. So I had to return it.

No Customer Service or Warranty Registration Available-No Internet Information-Waste of Money
I purchased this watched and during the first 5 weeks it was great and operational. However, the side button stop turning to the different measures (Heart Rate, EKG, etc.) I am unable to utilize this smartwatch except to tell time. The Withings website is very difficult to navigate. The FAQ page does not have a link to register for the watch warranty. The website is also very difficult to navigate. A search for a telephone number or link directly to Customer Service appears non-existing. Do consider the cost of this watch and the non-existence of customer service.

Perfect for my needs
I love it. Mostly I love that it comes with an OPTIONAL membership but you don't have to activate all the functions and can still have the basics like steps and sleep, which is what I needed. Could be that I'll want some of the other functions at some point--but for me this one looks like a watch and doesn't tell the world I'm watching my steps or tracking my sleep. Frankly, they don't need to know!

Buggy and not worth the money
Not accurate with steps count. I had the previous version which was much better. This version just doesn’t do its job. Also the app is not full of bugs

Usage quality not as expected.
I purchased this watch for my mom. It’s not as simple to use for the elderly. The phone does not detect the watch easily even if it’s right next to it the display does not light up on arm raises or turn of wrist as promised in the manual. The side button randomly changes hands on the clock. The battery does not last the 30 days or even 20.
