Grow Daily Kids Protein Drink Mix (Chocolate) - High Protein Shake for Kids 3+, 21.6 oz

I felt compelled to write a review for this product because I was hesitant to order this product based on the reviews over the bad taste of this product. So, I decided to try one bag and see how my son liked it. IT TASTES JUST FINE!! My son drinks milk just fine already, so that wasn't a concern. He likes chocolate milk, so I usually give him all white (2%) milk with a splash of chocolate milk for color and to give it a chocolate taste. I followed the directions and used a Blender Bottle. Because I was so concerned about the taste, I tried it for myself first and I thought it tasted like chocolate milk. I gave it to my son, nervously, and he drank it all with no complaints! He has been drinking it every morning for a week now and I have still not heard one complaint. So all I will say is to try it out for yourself. That's really the only way you will know if your child will drink it or not. I wish it wasn't so expensive, but I will continue to try it for the recommended 6 months and see if his height improves. Either way, I feel great about the product.

My boys, now 10 and 12, have been using Healthy Height for about a year. They do not take it every day, but often. I mix it in milk and mix it in smoothies. I initially purchased it because my boys seem to be on the very slow-growth path. It did not affect their growing at all. They are still very short for their age. But, I feel it is my job to do everything I can to help aid them. They love the taste, which is great, considering the majority of protein powders have a funny aftertaste. They ask for it, so I will continue to get it for them. Perhaps my persistence will pay off with some extra inches some day.

My son is on the spectrum, and tends to be very picky,an' wary of new of foods and drinks. Honest, the kid would rather starve than put anything that he considers "ick" in his body. So I'm happy to see that he looks forward to n' enjoys this shake. This powder has a pleasant scent, and taste! There is a slight aftertaste but it's not extreme. My biggest gripe is the price, but it's protein powder and they always seem to be expensive.

My very athletic 8 yr son is a picky eater and low in his growth scale. For the longest time I struggled with a balanced breakfast that he won't eat or a full kid loaded with surgery cereal before school. He's my youngest and I never had these issues with my girls. We tried tons of breakfast drinks, pre-made and powder, but they were either too thick, too chocolatey, didn't taste right or chalky. When we found Healthy Heights it was a game changer. He will drink the chocolate flavor blended with 2% milk without any complaints and whats better is for my light eater, it will keep him full until lunch time. We're into our second year with Healthy Heights and we pumped up our recipe to adding a large spoonful of full fat vanilla yogurt (he won't do greek) and a half of banana. He now makes it himself in the blender and perfers this as his breakfast every morning and remind me when we need to buy more. We feel lucky to have found a healthy routine breakfast. Honestly it's hard to say if its improving his growth, because kids grow naturally. But he is catching up to his classmates and is proud to be moving up the classroom height scale (now 4th to shortest). Go Healthy Heights. . I honestly recommend this shake to my friends with picky eaters.

I purchased this product on a “lightning deal” for $23.99 for my daughter, with hopes that she would drink it to grow bigger and stronger as she’s a very picky eater. She had some and apparently didn’t like the consistency of the product. I was flabbergasted, due to all the higher reviews of this product. So I decided to try some for myself and it’s a bit on the chalky side. It reminded me of liquid PediaSure. I personally don’t like it myself either and I’ve actually started mixing it with my vanilla muscle protein powder just to get rid of it. *Overall, some kids may like it but mine didn’t. Might need to go back to the flavor drawing-board on this one, as I know there’s some adult protein powders out there on the market today that have waaay better chocolate flavoring than this children’s brand.

One of the main ingredients in this is Maltodextrin. Absolute garbage and I regret ever giving this to my children. I recently learned about the dangers of maltodextrin and for this powder to have it as one of the MAIN ingredients is appalling. Parents, please do your research on maltodextrin and the effects on human health. Shame on this company for putting it in a children’s food.

My son is physiologically fine (tons of testing came back completely normal with exception of his bone age delayed by 2 years), he is just in the 5th- 10th percentile for height. Based on my height and that of my husband he should be in the 65%. Because all of the blood testing he underwent came back normal he’s not a candidate for growth hormone treatment. They consider him constitutionally delayed. We purchased these hoping to help him grow quicker because being a boy it’s harder when you are smaller sometimes. He has been taking two shakes a day as recommended. I can’t say I have noticed a very quick/big growth jump in him but according to my unofficial clinical trial I’m doing at my house :-) he’s has grown about a third of an inch in a month. He typically grows about 2 1/2 inches a year so that is a larger growth when taking into consideration his normal growth. I think the protein and extra calories help. He eats extremely healthy/whole foods and I imagine burns more calories than the average kid because he’s so active; the shakes help to fuel his activity and I am hoping his growth.

Father of 3, 2 easy eaters and 1 not so much. My wife and I have been struggling to find vitamins/supplements for our youngest, he is on the spectrum and refuses to eat anything outside of certain fruits, carbs and processed chicken (nuggets/strips). I have seen the positive reviews for HH and did my research before committing to my purchase (bought vanilla and chocolate). I went with standard free shipping and it arrived sooner than the company quoted me, that's a great start for me!!! We started with the chocolate flavor for him on our first try, he has a morning routine that involves a cup of chocolate milk, so I substituted his usual chocolate syrup with 2 scoops of HH with milk. He tasted it, looked at me for a bit (that look of "something is different") and kept on drinking it. WOW!!!! That's a huge win for us, normally he would throw his cup or push away a plate. Anyone with a child on the spectrum knows that getting your child to try something new is never easy, but we will find ways to encourage better eating choices, HH made this one easy for us! He may not have been a fan of the vanilla, but my other 2 wanted to try it and now they have a vanilla shake/smoothie with breakfast before school every morning. We are 2 weeks in and I will be placing my second order for more HH in both flavors! Thank you from our family!
