Quality wise no compromise, there is 2mm gap is provided inner diameter that need filling which affects proper sealing. Local PVC pipes not perfectly fit. But using thread sealed or sealing solution will work. I purchased this joints only to make box like structure so sealing not necessary. As per quality worth buying value for money.

Wrong fitting

Connectors are of good quality, the internal diameter is, though, slightly more than half inch.
