Very Good; Repetitive User
This is my 3rd time buying this product & i haven't been disappointed yet. Usually I do an all over red, but I did half red/half blonde this time. It has a beautiful fade, it doesnt fade orange/copper like, it starts with dulling the color before fading to a brownish color with a hint of red. But it lasts awhile, takes a few months to get to that point. Overall, I highly recommend, especially if you're going for a vibrant red. ❤️

Rich, fades slow and nicely.
Vibrant, rich copper-red tones that truly pop. It lifts and deposits color in one step, even on darker hair, without needing prelightening, which is a huge plus. The color comes out bold, dimensional, and salon quality every time. It applies smoothly, processes evenly, and leaves hair looking shiny and healthy rather than dry or damaged. If you’re looking for a striking copper red that lasts, this is hands down one of the best options out there. Just remember if you are touching up your roots not to over process the rest of your lengths and follow the box instructions. I also add two pumps of the Bond Bar bonding booster into the mix and it does help keep everything healthy.

Not as bright red as I thought it would be
The color is beautiful. It’s just not as bright as I thought it was going to be. I thought it would be a bright red. I used 30v developer.

Beautiful Color Payoff on Locs
I used L’Oréal HiColor Copper Red on my locs and the color payoff is BEAUTIFUL. My hair was previously colored and had faded to a warm brown, and this gave me a rich, vibrant copper-red without bleaching. In natural light it really pops, but it still looks deep and dimensional indoors. It processed evenly and didn’t leave patchy spots, which I was nervous about with locs. Definitely use gloves and deep condition afterward because it can be a little drying. If your hair is very dark and virgin, don’t expect a super bright red without lifting first. But on previously colored or lighter hair, this shade is stunning. I would absolutely repurchase.

Not for dark hair like it advertises
It barely made a difference in my hair. If you have level 2, very dark brown hair and you want to see a visible difference this is not for you. I left it for 40 minutes with the same brand’s level 30 developer. I didn’t see any damage though, but there was also no visible difference. You can only see it very subtly in the sun.

Love it! Great colour!
I really like the loreal hicolor reds. I have been using this product for about 2 years now maybe 3. They cover well. I use several different colors but mostly h8 red fire. I occasionally mix in intense red or copper red. In some of the photos my hair may look like it has some blue or purple in it but it does not that is the light from the three computer monitors that are in front of me in each of those photos. In some light my hair looks very copper orange and other light it looks very Auburn. I'm over all extremely pleased with this product. I'm not sure if L'Oreal is still making it however. I will definitely keep buying it as long as I can. Oh, and I have a lot of gray in my hair. Also I don't use 30 volume developer. I use 10-volume developer. If you have dark hair you will definitely want to use 30 volume developer especially if it's dark hair that hasn't been coloured (you really can't know what the results are going to be if you have dyed your hair a dark colour and then try putting this over it, you may want to consult a professional). Here's a little advice from someone who has covered their gray hair for over 30 years, DO NOT start at your roots (!!!) put it on your lengths first, then ends, and then put it on your roots for the last while otherwise you will get hot roots. That means that your roots will be much lighter than your ends you don't want that to happen. A mistake that I made over the years is recolouring the hair that had already been coloured before, to add a little bit of colour freshness to it, however it has gotten to be a little too dark so I'm changing my routine a little bit by using a lighter, copper red on the lengths occasionally, and red fire on the roots with a little bit of intense red added to help cover the gray. Another thing, red hair is difficult to maintain! you can't be constantly washing it and expect the colour to stay in! I only wash my hair once a week, in cold or cool water. Just keep that in mind. because my hair grows fast and it has a lot of gray in it, I have to recolour about every 3 weeks. Happy colouring!

Doesn't work that well
My hair is pretty dark and the colour didn't really pop. You can see slight red-ish highlights at the ends of my hair under certain light but overall it looks black. Maybe if you hair is a bit lighter it will catch better. Nontheless it didn't have the results that it claims to have since it says that it's for dark hair and my hair barelly has any difference after using the product. The box also came in a bad condition but i guess it was because the delivery guy squeezed it through the postbox.

Crap
Took about 8 months to arrive and that’s after sending a second package! Wouldn’t waste my time. Wasn’t even worth the wait. Made my hair dry and wasn’t as bright as I wanted it
