The nail polish covered my nails beautifully with a single coat, and kept my nails healthy. It dies say to apply 2 coats. I didn't realize it would dry to a matte finish.

I have been using Essie smooth e on my nails for quite some time, but now I am unable to find it. I ordered this, hoping it would be a good replacement. I am very disappointed. It is tinted pink, which isn’t awful, but it starts peeling off after two days. Not sure why they got rid of Smooth e, but I wish they would bring it back!

My nails actually look decent after a month of wearing. They grew without splitting. I like added a layer before I go swimming. Highly recommend. I can tell you that it does NOT work as a base coat though.

UPDATE: Just took this junk off after using for 2nd time. Don't waste your money. It did nothing good for my nails, if anything made them more brittle. Actually left a pink tint after removing and the "polish" chipped after only one day. Treat, Color and Love is the product that actually helps my nails. This junk is going in the trash. Original post: Ordered because of advertising that it helps strengthen nails. I'm not sure if it did or not - it goes on well, has a "pinky" tint and dries matte. I was not impressed with the look and it started chipping in two days. I normally use "Treat, Color, Love" which will stay on for a week or more before it begins to chip or come off. So even though I may use what I have, I definitely wont buy the product again.

Applies more like a heavy coating film with an odd flat finish

I have used this nail conditioning tint alone, which would only last for a few days, but now that I apply the clear coat first it will last a week and even longer. Since you seen this nail conditioner, I have less ridges and healthier cuticles. I find it provides a healthy polished look with look which I prefer over, colorful nail polishes and fake nails. If you want your natural beauty to shine, this is a good product for you.

I'm on the fence with this one. It does do a nice job of smoothing out imperfections in my nails but it can go on a little streaky and the recommended two coats looks awful. I've stuck to one coat that gives me a subtle pink tint and then I use a clear top coat for shine. Would I buy it again? Maybe. But I'll keep shopping around.

Good nail protector, goes on well

My nails look smoother after 1 use. I paint my nails with the Essie good as new and the next day my nails look smoother and shiny and had a nice very light pinky colour. I only used it once and noticed my nails are already better. It’s been a couple of weeks now and the original coating is still on and nails still looks good.

Love this polish. Nice and neutral. Dries really fast. Hoping it helps!
