plant. Sending from PA warehouse Review: Hardy, healthy but very young. Needs to be strengthened. - healthy and hardy. These ivy plants are beautiful, not just a twig, but strong stems and healthy leaves. I love it. Will purchase again and again. I discovered, for me, that putting them immediately in the ground was a big mistake. They are very young and for my area it needs to be repotted in a bigger pot to establish strength. I put them by the kitchen sink where they get plenty of fluorescent light. Each day they become stronger. In a few weeks I'll plant them and they should good and strong for Utah's ever-changing climate. Review: Boston Ivy Plant Reccomendation - First I liked that I placed my order and it arrived so fast it amazed me. Second I removed them from starters pot(s) and transplanted them into much larger planter pots. Third: Plants were very healthy and next day there was already a visual spurt in growth. Fourth: these are very low maintenance plants requiring little attention. Fifth: At this time the coloration of both plants is vibrant and almost fluorescent light green and also it brings immediate attention to this plant when viewed. Six I like the way the plants were packed and in such away that no matter how handled in transit these plants were protected from harm. In the short time I have had them in my apartment both plants have grown to 21 inches in length.

Not much hope!
I was so excited when my package arrived. Til I opened it. Nothing but a twig with 2 leaves. One already turning brown. Iโll be surprised if it lives for a week. Waste of money I fear.

Small but grew fast & healthy!
I ordered two of these, after researching a good climbing plant for the shade. I was a little disappointed when the package arrived because the plants were very small. But I've read ordering live plants online can be risky so my expectations weren't high. The package arrived quickly and I inspected the plants. I found a cluster of eggs (bug/insect) under one leaf. Wipe them off and disposed of them. Otherwise the plants were damp and looked in fair/good condition. I waited a few days and then repotted them. It's been a month or maybe a little longer and they are growing beautifully! I am so happily surprised at how well they are doing. One has already tripled in size and the other has doubled. So, needless to say I am happy with my purchase now. I hope they stay healthy and continue to grow for years to come.

One out of six thumbs up!
I ended up buying six of these plants. Three of the 4" and and three of 2.5" plants, when all of the previous plants died. I'm not sure if it was my fault or bad plants, but of all six, one one grew. But that plant sure did grow. There was virtually no growth the first season (2015) and I thought I had lost all three again, but to my delight, this year (2016) it not only had survived the winter, but grew tremendously throughout the season. It has almost reached the top of the wall. It even branched out into two arms. It probably grew 8 feet from spring until now (October). So it is hard for me to give a black and white review. Only 1/6 plants lived, but the one that did live is thriving.

Very small seedling
Rewriting review. When I first got it. It only had a few leaves on it but it did have a good root system. Planted it and now it takes over my whole garden. I might have to prune it already cause it took over so much.

Its alive!
Well it came living and seems to be fairly mature! Though, it does not seem to get much growth on it,( even considering fertilizer and watering frequently). It is in the middle of summer, maybe it just needs to get better established before Ill see growth. Either way, it is a living plant!
