I used this gate at the top of my stairs when my dog was injured and my downstairs was getting renovated. I didn’t want my dog going down the stairs, but I wanted to be able to go down easily when needed. This worked as a great solution. It was sturdy and easy to open and close. It kept my dog upstairs safely. The height was good for my 30 pound dog. It only used pressure so no screws needed in wall. One thing to keep in mind, before you take it down to store it somewhere, put a zip tie around where the door opens to secure it. That way when you put it back up again, it’s easy to install. Also when installing for the first time, do not cut the zip tie until after installing.

We had an issue with our dogs getting territorial over their food, so we needed something to keep them separate when fed. That said, my parents are older and don’t need to be climbing over a baby gate or constantly taking it down and putting it up over and over for twice daily feeding. This product solved all of the issues! I found it relatively easy to put together. My dad helped me a bit, but realistically I could have put it together alone if needed. I watched some of the videos and read reviews prior to buying and noticed some people saying that the screws didn’t screw into the gate properly and could slide in and out prior to tightening the washer attachments. Once I constructed mine, I realized that those pieces are meant to be that way due to the tension aspect of the product, so note that those particular reviews don’t actually show any quality issues. Overall, this is a great product. It’s easy for my parents and me to open and close. It keeps the dogs separate effectively. The door props open as it is supposed to. It’s adjustable to different sizes very easily with tension and the extra pieces. This gate is a great value for the money and I would buy a second one in a heartbeat if needed.

Very easy to install! Super sturdy, locks both direction and keeps my pups out and safe where I need them. Worth the purchase will be purchasing another!

This is a good gate for keeping baby and pets where they are supposed to be and away from the stairs or where they aren't supposed to be. I like the ability to open a section of the gate to walk through without having to undo the gate, walk through, and set the gate back up. This is much more my-life friendly and cuts down on wear marks on the wall from re-tensioning the gate to set it back up every time you want on the other side.

This is a remarkably good and versatile gate. I have a complicated stairway that has thwarted all my previous efforts to install a gate, but I have been able to block it easily and very well with this gate. And I'm blocking a large and active dog who loves to climb, so it has to be super solid. The gate is ingenious in design, and extremely easy to install once you've read and understood the instructions, but please use your head and keep screwing the knobs until the fit is very tight.

We use this to keep a puppy who is not yet fully house trained away from the carpeted rooms in the house, and it works perfectly. The gate opens and closes easily, the metal gate itself is strong but not too heavy and the adjustable bolts makes it easy to install the gate without drilling holes in the wall. All in all a very nice and useful product.
