UGREEN USB C Hub 10Gbps, C Splitter with 4 USB-C Ports, 30CM Cable

I had an issue with my new MacBook and needed many more usb c connectors. This was just the job.

Seems to work well so far.

Works well with 2 attached but gets errors when you try and add a third and one gets logged out

So far, really impressed. Only had it a very short while, but bought to backup from MacBook Pro to multiple SSD drives (all USB-C) at the same time.Tested the speed via BlackMagic and there's absolutely no difference vs going direct, over 1000mb/sec easily achievable for each drive (not tested all 4 at once) but that's a great result and shows there's no slow down vs a direct USB C / thunderbolt connection on a 10gbps drive (obviously anything faster than 10gbps will be throttled down when using this drive... but its still crazy fast speeds)V impressed - and allows me to backup a folder of photos to 3 (or 4) external drives at the same time, at very very fast speed.

Plug and play at its best

Had this a while now and it was only running a couple of webcam. The cams were pretty poor but I just thought it was them.Today I decided to connect my USBC drive to copy across some files. I just couldn't get them to go no how. It was only 20GB and judging by the claimed speed of this it should have been a breeze. It wasn't until I gave up and plugged the drive directly into the port the hub was connected to that the files flew over in a matter of seconds.I've used loads of UGreen stuff and never had an issue, or so I thought. I won't be using another of their USB C hubs, thats for sure.If you want 10GB data, don't use one of these!!!! Of you want to copy files ..... don't use one of these!!!

Does what it should.

Simple way of adding more USB-C ports - does the job. Charge ports work. For desktop use cable length good and plugs into Mac Mini working straight away. No port drop out issuues

I have a relatively new Mac Mini M4, and I do find its ports somewhat limiting. The Mac has two USB-C in front and three Thunderbolt ports in the back. Because the Mac mini itself is so small and light, it can be difficult to access the ports and plug peripherals in and out. This UGreen USB hub works connected either to the USB ports in the front or to one of the Thunderbolt ports in the back. It doesn’t offer Thunderbolt speed, but it is quite quick and responsive for USB-C. I have had minor reliability problems with the ports on the M4—I have a USB keyboard, trackball, backup drive, and sometimes two external SSD drives plugged in, and the Mac itself sometimes doesn’t see everything at the same time—for instance, my trackball sometime disappears.I’ve had this hub plugged into one of the USB-C ports in front and keep a number of peripherals plugged into it, and they have all worked very effectively at the same time, and the speed has been very responsive on the external data drives. So it has improved my Mac.This is not heavy; it’s light plastic, but it works well. What I would have appreciated is if this had one USB-A port, too. I see a lot of USB-A hubs that have one C and a lot of As, but the new standard is USB-C. Some of my peripherals are USB-A, and I have little adapters that convert USB-A to USB-C and those work great with this, too, so with one of those, you can, of course, plug USB-A items into this.This has been very helpful to me with my M4 Mini and I recommend it.

Just received this. This doesn't work with USB-C Charging of MacBook or even a USB-C display. Lower powered devices it works, like a webcam, yubikey etc
