Brilliant bit of kit
This was a replacement for my old robot hoover that broke when the sensor stopped working and it fell down the stairs! I've had it for about a week now now and it's working brilliantly. It's a heck of an upgrade from my old hoover with the rotating mop heads and self cleaning dock. I'm particularly impressed by the way it can seamlessly go from mopping hard floors to hoovering carpets without me having to mess around with fitting/removing the mop pads which got annoying pretty quickly with my old model. This one just raises the mop heads when it sees carpet - which is brilliant! From what I can see, it does a great job on carpets, but where it really shines (pun intended!) is on hard floors. Most of the downstairs is laminate or tile and the floors are sparklingly clean. It even manages to clean up dried bits of cat food jelly that the cats love to throw all over the kitchen floor. I used to have to clean those up by hand as the robot just had a single pad that it dragged around so it just smeared all over the floor. With the rotating pads, the Roborock makes easy work of them. The fact that it goes back to the dock to clean the mop after each room is a really great feature as there's no "cross contamination " between the downstairs loo (where the cat litter trays are) and the kitchen and hall, which I really like. There are the usual cons of a mid range robot hoover - it doesn't get into corners/tight spaces/under furniture, which means I have to get the Big Hoover out occasionally and do those manually and the object avoidance is a little bit hit and miss so I just pick stuff up off the floor before it does its daily clean (Oh No! How tragic! I actually have to do 5 minutes work myself!) but for keeping the house clean on a daily basis, it's fantastic. It connected seamlessly to Alexa so now I can use voice commands like "Tell Harry to clean the kitchen" and off it goes. Yes, I named my robot Harry - it's easier than saying "Tell Roborock Q35S to clean the kitchen"! All in all, I'm extremely pleased with this robot. It does everything I want it to do at a much higher level than I was expecting for the price.

Worth the price.
I have been investigating what best robot vacuum cleaner to have and decided on this one. We have three golden retrievers and needed one to vacuum and mop. I’ve had it two days and love it. It has two large water butts for clean and waste water, it goes everywhere and it does it with speed and ease. I’ve just figured out that I can move it to another floor in my house away from the charging station and it maps it very well. It worked wonders in my kitchen navigating all the table legs and chair legs and its single side brushes has managed to get the dogs hairs round the base better than I can do with my Dyson. It was dead easy to set up and now I can do the whole of my three floors in my house daily. Still finding out the other features. And all managed from my phone. These range from £1200 for a Dyson to a couple of hundred pounds but worth spending a little bit more at £449 (And not wasting it on the higher priced models) to get this quality and functionality. Great gadget.

Great top up cleaner.
Life changing. We have a 18month old and a dog. So the floors are consistently messy. But this really makes cleaning easier. Is it a replacement for a vacuum and a steam mop? No... But it it's great at a top up between those deep cleans. Apps really easy to set up and connecting to the WiFi is easy too. Battery life is amazing. Even on high power. And it's not even noisy. We run it downstairs through the night whilst we sleep and we can't even hear it.

Amazing Little Robo Mop
UPDATE - there is another programme within the app that does a deeper and better mop, so this can cope with some spills that have dried. Tested it earlier today (30/05/2025) on some doggy footprints and it returns a much better finish, I'll probably use that more often now that I know it's there! That nudges this review even closer to 5 stars for me. I absolutely LOVE this little guy! Arnie takes the day to day vacuuming and light mopping in his stride. I have terrible back and hip pain so sweeping the floors really takes it out of me, to the point that I can't physically manage it on a daily or even weekly basis at times. Now, my floors are lovely and clean every day. Don't get me wrong, he's not perfect as he can't get under the sofas but can get under the footstool and armchair. I will have to do a manual clean once or twice a month just to cover bits he can't get to. However, this is literally life-changing for me! Doesn't take up too much room, he's docked just inside the dining room and sometimes it feels like I have another pet wandering about :D There are some Robomops that are far more expensive and some that are a bit cheaper. I feel like Arnie was good value for the functionality and quality of manufacture. App is very easy to use/navigate and you can give it a name if you want to, and there are lots of available languages for the status updates that you get as Robomop works his way around the house/returns to dock, etc... There are several settings that you can programme to do automatically though I just set him off when I sit down to work and he just gets on with it. Pros: relatively quiet, gets on with it, ideal for light mop on a daily basis, perfect for picking up dog hair on daily basis (I have three HWV's who do moult!), empties the dust bag automatically, cleans the mops and dries them ready for the next time. Haven't noticed an increase to my electricity bill (smart meter monitor). Cons: doesn't really clean spills that have dried, can't quite get into corners though good effort is made. I don't give out five stars lightly, was very close to it here. Overall I'd say 4.5 out of 5.

Amazing! Should have bought sooner!
I had been thinking about buying one of these and after researching decided in the Roborock Qrevo Series. I am very impressed with it. It vaccums and mops the floors very well. I have wooden, tiles and carpet flooring and it knows what flooring type and automatically selects the best cleaning method. It can be scheduled to run wherever / whenever and is quick to map. You can set no-go zones and skip areas if not needed. It self cleans, only needing to add water to the clean tank and remove the dirty water and hoovered bits. I’ve mopped the floor manually since to see how clean it leaves it and it’s very clean. It hasn’t got stuck anywhere, managing to navigate under furniture and over door thresholds. I wish I had bought one sooner, it saves me so much time and keeps my floors looking fabulous! Purchased in the Black Friday sale so fantastic value. Would highly recommend.

Destroyed two brand new rugs, as well as itself.
I won't include a photo of the carnage for decency reasons. We had this roborock for just over a week, and I will provide a more detailed review of it's general performance later, but first the reason for the 1 star review. One of our elderly dogs had an accident in the night on one of our two brand new ivory rugs, that were on our brand new hardwood flooring installed the same day we purchased the roborock. Without going into too much detail about the the formation of the 'matter', it would have been an obvious and rather solid obstacle for the roborock to avoid, almost as tall as the unit itself. However it did not avoid it, instead it ran over it, and judging from the scale of resulting mess, it would have been seriously struggling to both move and continue to operate effectively as soon as it came into contact with it. For context, this is a machine that recognises the small increase in height when it reaches a rug, and has itself a moment whenever it comes in contract with a threshold. In this incident it would have actively taken several attempts for the unit to actually mount the mess to carry on it's job. But did a dog poo the same height as it slow it down? Not a chance. The Roborock persevered on, smearing dog faeces across not only one ivory rug, but it then managed to power through it's faecal entanglement and move over to the second matching ivory rug, and smeared it all over that as well, as well as the hardwood floor in between. I can only respect the sheer determination it must've shown to power through with it's idea of cleaning when there was clearly something wrong. It's just a shame of the damage it was causing along the way. The reality is though, is that this has destroyed the two brand new £100.00 rugs, they will never be the same again. It also destroyed itself, with faeces smeared all over the bottom of the unit, into every nook and cranny of it's construction, and throughout it's internals. It would require being fully dismantled and a full deep clean for there to be any hope of it working again, although that would also void any sort of warranty, so there's little point in doing that. And I'm doubtful the smell will ever go away, especially as the unit warms up when it's cleaning and then moves a lot of air. It also emptied itself at the base unit, smearing the inside of the base unit as well. The smell in the living room when we discovered what had happened was catastrophic. I can understand accidents happen, and sometimes things may not go as planned when left in the not so capable hands of a robot vacuum. But actively running over a pile of dog poo as high as the robot itself, and then powering through to finish the job when it should've been blindingly obvious for the operating software that something was clearly not right, is certainly not what we expect from something that costs £600.00. Today it was dog poo, but tomorrow it could be something else which it really should be smart enough to avoid, but doesn't, resulting in hundreds and hundreds of pounds of damage and robotic hoover destroying itself. GENERAL PERFORMANCE: Completely disregarding the above incident and just providing a review on performance; It's OK, pretty decent. I was not massively impressed with the hoovering performance if I'm perfectly honest. We mainly got it to pick up as much dog hair as it could overnight, and then mop the hardwood portions of the floor after. I would've expected it to pick up more hair than it did. I understand that it's not going to pick up everything, especially dog hair on a hardwood floor, but we would often witness it go directly over a patch of floor with some dog hairs on, and half the time every single one would still be there once the roborock had passed over. This was on fully power hoovering as well on a custom profile. But it was clear that as least some was being picked up over the full course of the clean which helped keep on top of the job and allow for an easier proper manual clean once a week. The mopping was good, no issues with that. We only had it on the low water flow setting and had it go over the hardwood floor once a day overnight. We had added some appropriate cleaning fluid and every morning the floor was nicely mopped and smelling fresh. Well until this morning anyway... Would I recommend it? If you've no pets, and there's 0% chance of any unforeseen messes that the robotic hoover really should recognise before ploughing through, then maybe. If it's cleaning area is mainly hardwood floors and you want it just for it's hoovering ability, then I'd say pass. If it's mainly the mopping aspect that you're looking for on hardwood floors as well as an OK hoovering performance, then yeah, it's probably worth it. If you have carpets then probably not as a large portion of the price of this unit will be solely down to it's mopping functionality as well, which obviously won't be required. If you have pets... Avoid. It's just not worth it. I'm sure a unit half the price could do as good of a job in smearing pet faeces across your floor as this one. If we didn't have the 'incident', I'd probably give it 3, maybe 4 stars out of 5. However, following on from The Great Rug Disaster of 2025, then it's lucky to be getting a 1 star.

Excellent First Robot Vacuum – Easy Setup, Works Well, Worth Taking Time to Learn
I’m a first-time robot vacuum user, so I took my time reading the manual and setting everything up properly—and I’m glad I did. Assembly was very easy, and connecting to WiFi and the app was straightforward. The manual is clear, with good diagrams showing all the parts, although the operating instructions themselves are quite basic. Most of the real functionality sits in the app, so it’s worth taking a bit of time to explore it thoroughly. Once in the app, things became much clearer. It prompts you to map your home, which was simple and worked well. I ran a manual vacuum first just to see how it behaved, and then tested the mopping function—both worked very effectively. Scheduling and additional options are found under settings (not immediately obvious), but once you know where everything is, the app is fairly easy to use. A few things I didn’t realise before buying (useful for other first-time users): - The disposable dust bags need replacing roughly every 6–8 weeks. - Filters and brushes will need replacing every 6–12 months depending on use. - The robot itself needs occasional cleaning, including wiping the sensors (very easy to do). - You need to use a suitable low-foam cleaning solution designed for robot mops rather than standard household cleaners. After going through everything and setting up a schedule, the system now runs automatically, which is exactly what I wanted. Overall, I’m very pleased with this vacuum. It does a great job and, once set up, makes cleaning much easier and its just great to have a clean house with do little effort.

Brilliant value
We've had this for just under a month and it has been phenomenal. It vacuums and mops a 100m2 floor area in around 1.5-2hrs daily. The floors have never been cleaner, and it requires really low maintenance. It's also pretty quiet so the cat doesn't get anxious around it. I'm surprised by how much pleasure the clean floors actually give. Even if this only lasts for 2-3 years it's a great buy, what would you pay for a cleaner to come daily? Yes the it can't clean as deeply as if you do it by hand, but it keeps things consistently cleaner when really i was only vacuuming every two weeks. The object avoidance is perfectly fine. it can't handle tiny things or cables, but it does work around the cat toys. No experience with poop yet, so you have to do your own risk assessment there. I though we would have way more tangling issues but actually it's all good. It can't handle cheerios or olive stones, which get stuck and make a god awful noise. We also have a house plant which drops long leaves which tend to get wrapped up. The hair collection system works well though, no hair based tangles yet. Overall highly recommended. this is the sweet spot for mop, vacuum and the base station to do all the daily maintenance.
