Concise book and good entry point to understanding EWM in S/4

Very informative but more geared towards system admin. If you’re looking for a step by step guide like a users manual this won’t help. However, explains all the functions very well.

I am implementing EWM on S/4 and wanted a reference book for process configuration,Fiori and product understanding. Came across this book and liked flow of the book; detailed steps for VAS and Kitting. Some good insights on best practice for 1709 embedded EWM.

This book has quite a few typing mistakes. I am new to EWM & if I can find so many mistakes it is not a good feeling. On the positive side, I would say the organization of the topics in the book is good. It has covered many topics of EWM. The major drawback of the book is that the "Proof Reading" is of very very poor quality to say the least. If this book meant for someone who wants to learn EWM than it can be confusing at times. 1. e.g on page 380 - in the menu path instead of "Define Stock Removal Control Indicator" the book reads (in bold) " Define Storage Type Search Sequence for Stock Removal". Click on new entries ......... 2. On page 563 - in the menu path - "Define Wave Template Determination" - the book reads "Select the defined wave template and click on Define Wave Template Time Attribute" .... which is the previous topic of discussion. 3. In another section at the (beginning of the book) it has a wrong screen shot for the topic it is talking about. 4. Another major drawback of the book is it does not provide any End-to-End scenario. If you are new to EWM you would like to see such scenarios to get an understanding of how these configurations are tied together to create an End-to-End process flow. So I am giving this book a 3 Start rating

Reading the booking gives an overview on EWM, but little extra knowledge. Would not recommend it.
