We purchased this playpen for our two Shih Tzu puppies. I really like this playpen. It looks really cute and it is well made. My puppies are currently 3 months old. They are not able to jump out of it, and I don’t anticipate they will be able to, even when they are older. I liked this far better than all the other playpens we saw that were made for dogs. They were all plain/boring looking. This one is extremely cute and it doesn’t look like an eyesore in our home. We also purchased the matching blue polka dot mat. If you are planning on purchasing the playmat for your pets, I would recommend purchasing the blue polka dot design (or any other light colored mat) because it will be much more easier to see any messes/accidents (urine, etc). We were able to secure pet water bottles onto the playpen our puppies using zip ties and it stays securely. I like the door feature, it is easy to open, and it’s allows our puppies to walk out on their own when we open the door. The lock is sturdy, our puppies weren’t able to open it by pushing or jumping on it. Like many others have mentioned, the door has two locks, one on the top of the door and one of the bottom. The one on the bottom doesn’t click into place when you close the door normally. You kinda have to push it in a bit. It’s not a deal breaker, and even if the bottom lock isn’t clicked, my puppies still aren’t able to open the door and escape. The play pen has suction cups on the bottom of each panel, which is supposed to suction onto your floor, but they don’t work at all. Many other reviewers have mentioned the same. The playpen is still sturdy without the suction cups, although it would have been nice if it actually worked. Overall I would highly recommmend this playpen. Even though it is a little more expensive than other playpens, I do think it’s worth it.

Before committing to this, I ordered North States 8 panels playard twice as it was well reviewed and cheaper. However, both shipments came with the panels warped. They just did not look sturdy enough. I finally bit the bullet and bought the Baby Care Playpen and the mat that goes with it, and I am very happy with my decision. This is one sturdy, well constructed playpen that provides a huge space where my baby boy learned to roll, sit, crawl, pull himself up, cruise, and walk. Our current place is not baby friendly and it would have taken a lot of efforts and $$ to baby proof. This is a great solution to keep the baby safe and learn independent play while I get chores done. (YAY!!!) When all 10 panels are installed, it is about the size of a queen size bed and both my husband and I can lie down with our son in it. I appreciate the smooth edges and the placement of the openings. There were a few times that my baby had his arm or foot stuck in the opening, but I was always nearby to "rescue" him and he was not hurt. I highly recommend this playpen and the mat (very cushy) together. Yes, they are expensive, but in my opinion well worth it.

We bought the Baby Care Play Mat Pen and accompanying mat (sold separately) as a safe place to let our little ones explore and to keep our small dogs away while babies play. We have it on a wood floor, and the suction cups are pretty strong. Our little one is able to shift the walls slightly (sliding the suction cups) with a couple good kicks, but it takes a little effort for me to pull the suction cups off the floor. Overall has seemed very sturdy. As our little ones roll and crawl around, I know they are safe and not getting into dangerous areas of the house. I am hopeful it will keep babies contained as toddlers as well, but I do not have experience with it yet. The gate entry is nice, and I use it when the dogs are around (don't want them following me in), but the fence is low enough for me to carefully lift my leg over when the dogs are near, while it should be tall enough to easily contain young toddlers. One thing to note: it comes with four corner connectors, so if you buy two play pens to combine into a bigger space as we did (for multiple children), you will have enough fence to fit three play mats (one perpendicular to the other two), however not enough straight connectors (you end up with 8 corner connectors). Other play gates sell extension kits, but we weren't able to find one for this play pen. If you only make the area large enough for two play mats, you should have plenty of connectors, but will have extra gate pieces. We currently don't feel the connectors were necessary at every connection, though we may change our minds are the kids get stronger. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase.

This set is very well made, and excellent quality. Easy to put together (just make sure the gate opens outwards, otherwise you've done it wrong and the holders won't fit). Gave us a place to let our baby explore by himself or with us inside, a safe space that we don't have to worry about them getting hurt or escaping :) It's also very durable and the plastic is soft enough that baby won't get hurt even if they bang up against it. It's also strong enough that they can use it to hold on to when learning to walk! This company was also highly responsive when I had an issue with the holders and shipped me new ones. I highly recommend this item, it's worth it.

I was worried to spend a lot of money for playpen at the beginning. I looked and looked but I didn't wanna buy bright color playpen or cheap material... I wanted to buy something safe for baby and look good. I knew the size but when I built this wow! It's big! I also bought their play mat with this. Everything fits perfect! It's well made. My husband and I can fit in this! sometime we lay in this playpen together ! Only thing I don't like is hard to close the door at the bottom part. And if you buy this please please be careful when you open door and go out sometime I forget there are bottom piece and I almost triped over ! I'm glad I didn't fall when I was holding baby.

I had to wait for a few days for this grey and white color play pen to become available and I'm sure glad that I did. We didn't want a colorful play pen in our living room so this muted but classic colors are just what we were looking for. They came well packaged and my husband assembled them pretty quickly. It also matches the Baby Care pink polka dot play mat we bought and they look great together. I just wished they had more suctions on for our hardwood floors but overall, they are sturdy and even if you try to push them, they don't break apart. They move a little bit here and there but that is totally expected. It is worth spending extra $$ for this play pen. If you want the best for your baby and if you want peace of mind, then this is the play pen for you!

This playpen is incredibly well made and works wonderful with the Alzip Mat from Korea (leaves a 1-2 inch gap which is okay with us, we chose the mat because our cats don't scratch it). The suction cups do not always stay put but it hasn't been a big issue for us, the mat seems to keep everything in place. My 10 month old daughter loves pulling up on all sides and it has made our one bedroom home livable with a baby. We usually leave the door open so she can crawl in and out, only closing it when we really need to. I like that it's so large that my husband or I can also fit inside. Our family got really sick about a month ago and caring for our baby was much easier when we could lay down on the mat with the playpen closed while she played. My baby does put her foot in the little holes sometimes like she wants to try to climb the structure but it hasn't been a problem for us (or at least not yet). I thought about buying this playpen for over a month before going through with it due to the cost and I have not regretted this purchase for a second. It is safe, doesn't look like an animal cage, has cute bunnies and stars on it, and is probably as attractive as a playpen could be in the blue & white colors. My house looks like a daycare center in Koreatown.. but I don't mind.

Read many reviews about other products with baby's foot getting stuck and screws coming loose or popping out. This product is just ten panels (one is a gate) that fit together with integrated plastic posts fitting into holes on the adjacent panel. Then there are large plastic cap pieces (no choke hazard) that clip over each joint and provide extra stability. It set up in five minutes, no tools needed, and could disassemble just as quickly. There were cheaper options out there, but the whole point is keeping your child safe and out of mischief, and so definitely worth the peace of mind. The play area is about 4.5 x 7 feet which is a good size. I thought I wanted bigger, but this works well, with space for a parent and multiple children to play inside.
