Best Lions mane extract I have tried! Works VERY quickly!
I have tried MANY different extracts of different species of mushrooms, Lions Mane bring my absolute favorite because of its benefit on the brain. But Freshcaps seems to have captured lightning in a bottle (or pouch rather?) You will feel subtle calming yet energizing effects within a few hours of taking this product. Within a week or two, you will notice a lot of those old cob webs and brain fog being lifted. Feelings of days past when you were not only younger, but much healthier. After about a month of taking this product, you will have a seemingly "laser sharp" mind. One that is as crisp and clear as early morning dew. This stuff really is a miracle. Grown within the US, uses whole fruiting bodies, and utilizing hot water extraction to give you the most bang for your buck. WELL worth the buy, I will most likely be stocking up on this, and a few other products from the Freshcap line. P.S. Mushrooms is ALL these guys produce, so it would be like getting boxing lessons from Mike Tyson. Its their specialty!! Tha ks for the knockout product Freshcap!!!!

Feeling ELECTRIC
Wow, not sure what to say here. Let me put it like this; there are a lot of mushrooms in the world, and they do all kinds of stuff. Some will kill you, some taste good with avocado, some make you hallucinate another dimension, and some just give you a stomach ache. These ones? They put me into a mindset that I can only describe as a lion stalking it's prey. Cool, focused, calculated. Supposedly the mechanism has something to do with myelination of neurons, and I know cordyceps play a role in the up-regulation of killer T cells, but to me this was a unique experience. Mix it with maca and beet root, maybe some spirulina and you will not even recognize your own work ethic. Just my experience of course, so do your own research, but everyone I have asked to try them has said the same thing. Great before work, great before studying, and especially great before the gym. Almost feels like a cheat code sometimes. If you're looking to dip your toe into the pool of effects that the mycelium world offers, then this is a gentle introduction. If, on the other hand, you are already acquainted with these things, then you already know what I'm talking about. Give it a shot, I like this brand in particular.

A little goes a long way
Been using this for over a year and have seen results after first use. It will help you focus, makes you more alert, and also helps you go number 2! Just be careful and start lower than recommended dose. I had to build my tolerance up. Strong, pure ingredients that mixes well in hot water. The smell or taste doesn't affect my drink i mix it in.

Neuropathic pain finally gone!
I, too, have had neuropathy, not from Diabetes, but because of 4 herniated discs to my back, since the 90's. The neuropathic pain worsened to the point that I would have, what I called, "wheelchair" days, where I literally had to get around at home in a wheelchair. They've tried me on everything from antidepressants to seizure medicine; the last medication which I took was the Lyrica, which, not only did not help me but also gave me some side effects of confusion and forgetting things. I'm a nurse and I could not risk many mistakes at work with my patients. I'm also a research nurse, (by nature), though I did work as a research nurse for a number of years. I've tried just about every natural/homeopathic and home remedy that is out there but to no avail. Finally, my pain was so severe that while I was at the local nutrition store where I regularly shop, I asked if there was anything new with respect to neuropathy, and the young man asked me if I had ever heard of Lion's Mane mushrooms and how it works on nerves. I came home and researched it, then decided to try it; I ordered the Lion's Mane mushroom in powder form (they didn't have the powdered form at the nutrition store). The first 7 days, I didn't think that the pain to my feet could get any worse than I had been experiencing, but it did. I was ready to quit taking the mushroom powder, but then, I thought it through, as what I had read about how the mushrooms work to regenerate damaged nerves, so I continued to take them. By day 8, the pain subsided, but knowing what I do know about neuropathy, in that neuropathic pain can be very unpredictable, I started to chart the presence, level, and frequency of pain on my calendar. I started taking the mushroom powder, faithfully, on Feb. 11, and besides the 7 days of increased pain, I have not had any more neuropathic pain. I am back to walking, 2-5 miles with my husband. I do, also have CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) from an injury I sustained to my left foot/leg in 2011; I lost 20% use of the peroneal nerve, for which I have a permanent spinal cord stimulator implanted, and also use Lidocaine 5% patches to that foot. I am hopeful that with continued use of the mushrooms, it can regenerate the peroneal nerve so that I will no longer have to use the AFO brace that I have to wear, 24/7. I've also, always, struggled with retaining information and with short-term memory ever since I was given a medication, Stadol many years ago. At one point, back in the '80s, I had a medical workup for MS, because of some of the symptoms I was having. My brain MRI showed that I had amyloid plaques in my brain; I then had to have yearly MRI's to monitor progression or increase in the number of amyloid plaques. Since I've been taking the mushroom powder, I have noticed that my memory is quite improved; I can retain information and I feel that I am more focused and have greater clarity. The "icing on the cake", for me, has been with respect to my bladder issues. I'm 65 years old and had been experiencing issues commonly seen with older women, like not feeling like I was completely emptying my bladder, plus, I was also experiencing some leakage when I'd wait too long to urinate. In fact, I had been seen by a Uro-Gynecologist because of my symptoms and he had scheduled me for a cystoscopy. Because my husband got sick and ended up having to have surgery (it was scheduled on the same day as my cystoscopy), I decided to wait to schedule the cystoscopy until after he recovered from his surgery. So, now that all my symptoms are, I am rethinking whether I still need to reschedule. All of that is completely gone! Gone! I will definitely continue taking the mushrooms and make them a daily part of my health regimen. I'm a missionary nurse and so I'm always sharing helpful information with others. As a person who has suffered from neuropathic pain since the '90s, I share my experience with everyone, especially those who have had neuropathic pain.

Tastes good
The taste of this is super mild, I mix it with hot water and with Chaga mushroom powder, and I don't need anything to cover up the taste, it makes a very nice tea. Not mushroom tasting at all (and I detest mushrooms). I'm not sure if I'm noticing much of an effect when I take it, but I bought a package for my brother and grandpa and they both say they notice an effect. They're more alert, so they can drink this instead of coffee in the afternoon and it picks them up. My grandpa has alzheimers, I'm not sure if it's helping his symptoms, but he wants to buy more when it's out. My brother sometimes adds it to his coffee and notices it makes him less likely to crash, and the effects of the caffeine last longer. I tried a lion's mane packet from Four Sigmatic and it made me feel suuuuper alert! Different than coffee, it made me actually feel less tired and more capable of using my brain and focusing on tasks. Coffee just makes me more alert, but doesn't get rid of any tired feeling behind my eyes. This product doesn't make me feel as extreme as that brand did, but it's a soothing thing to drink in the morning, and I feel like I'm able to remember things slightly better.
