The quality of the product is just awesome!!!! Each and every detailing is amazing. The only thing I personally felt difficult was the size. Its quite big than expected. Didn't go well with my small neck. But the product is good and worth the money. Anyone planning to buy make sure about the size of the necklace. Its quite big. (I Bought it in 2020 and had used it 4-5 times. Even today(2025), the colour didn't fade and just looks like new one)

Kaasu malai (coin necklace) is a huge part of my Tamil culture, made out of coins embellished with the image of Goddess Lakshmi, and traditionally worn with silk sarees. I ordered this for a family wedding, to be worn with an expensive Kanjeevaram, but I'm sorry to say that I'm utterly disappointed. The built of the necklace is fine-it seems sturdy enough to wear a few times before it probably breaks. However, the size is a bit too small and even after opening the drawstring closure fully, it's a struggle to get it over my head and onto my neck. If you're not careful, there is a huge possibility of it snapping in two. My biggest problem, however, is the colour and the finish of the necklace, which looks extremely cheap. There is a yellowish tint to it, which makes it look tacky as hell. I wish fashion jewellery brands imitating traditional jewellery like this would at least care to do some justice to the rich heritage attached to them. Highly disappointed, have returned immediately. Please save your money and get something else instead.

I had very very high expectations after reading all the positive reviews. which meant that i was slightly disappointed by what i received. the product is nice, exactly like what it looks in the display pictures. good finish, nice design, and makes a pretty ornament to wear. the biggest problem (and this could be specific to me) is that the coins are stuck together with a thin strip from behind. which means (i had imagined they would be) coins are not loose, jingling but rather stiff and stay a little awkward over the collarbone. unfortunately for me thats uncomfortable and i'm unable to wear it :( . im hoping the makers use this as a feedback and see if they can modify the design

I liked everything about the product. Even now(after one year) it's like the original. Have usee in different occassions. Looks good and the color gold is realistic. Nice package , fast delivery, good product

After looking at its pictures and glowing reviews, my mother fell in love with this necklace and picked it over another one-gram gold necklace that she'd liked. She was looking forward to wearing it for an upcoming wedding, as she didn't want to travel to another city with gold ornaments in her possession, but this anticipation was matched only by the disappointment she felt after seeing the product in person. Though the necklace seemed not too different from the pictures to my inexperienced eyes, my mother insisted that I return it and get a refund, which I did. The reasons are as follows: * Looks super-gaudy and fake. It's too yellow and glossy to resemble gold, and doesn't even need a close inspection to tell that it's artificial. The string looks extremely cheap and nothing like the picture, which was an immediate turn-off. Also, the pearl-like beads shown in the third picture are absent. * The coins are all stuck together, and do not move (jingle) individually; this causes the necklace to stay stiff and uncomfortable to wear. Even if one were to ignore the discomfort, the lack of flexibility combined with its light weight make it appear awkward against the neckline when worn. Young girls or ladies with unusually slender necks may not face this problem, but the majority would. * Necklaces of similar quality can apparently be bought in local shops for 150-200 INR, and it's hence not worth the price-tag of 475 that it commands. I love this Jwellery set. I have always been a fan of temple jwellery and the moment i saw this set i wanted to order it from Amazon. I wore it for my sister's wedding and recieved many compliments. Gives a real traditional look to the whole outfit. Only thing i did not like is, it is too bright for a gold color set but then its not gold so why complain :)
