I bought this pattern/package even though there were some seriously negative reviews. I’ve found it very intuitive. The pattern printed on the material includes a color key. The colors on the material are *not* the same as the finished cross-stitch. The reasoning is that the colors are very close (several shades of brown that are very close in shade for instance). Because of this a picture of the final work is also included with all of the matching colors. If you aren’t sure about a shade from the printed material, you can easily cross reference. The design is beautiful. The gloss isn’t the highest standard. It is not smooth enough, but so far that’s been ok. All of the thread DMC numbers are listed if you want to replace the thread with a higher quality floss. I will add a photo of the finished work when I’ve, well, finished it!

The kit was put together nice with quality supplies. Unfortunately, even though it said for beginners I was a bit lost. So, because of users inabilities I am slowly coming along with it. If I can hang in there I feel like it will turn out very nice. If not, it will be because of my lack of knowledge on cross Stitch. It would be nice to have set of instructions for the “ totally lost” crowd, like myself.

It looks good. I just needed the paper blue print and the treads. It's exactly as described. Will order more.

This is a very attractive cross stitch and I am enjoying working on it. I received enough thread to complete this. It is easier that many kits as the instructions are clear and the color coding makes it easier to pick the right color. My old eyes can't differentiate between some of the color symbols with other kits.My only problem with this kit us that the threads are cheaper that most and knot and tangle too much.

I did not like this set. It was very dark and the symbols ran together making it hard to figure out. Definitely would not for a beginner.

I love this cross stitch! It has everything you need and printed picture so you can follow along easily. Great for beginners and advanced cross stitchers. The color variety is fantastic and you get plenty of thread to work with. Highly recommended

This sea turtle is a high quality 11CT cross stitch kit, with 34 colors, and a clearly printed canvas. If you never worked a stamped kit before, please take the time to watch a tutorial to see how it's done. For 11 CT, use 3 strands, and after stitching, soak in coolish water (under 90 degrees) until the ink dissolves out of the canvas. I'm very pleased with this kit and look forward to getting started on it.

The pattern is extremely difficult to follow, very, very tiny print and hard to transfer to cloth to begin stitching.
