Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – Gryffindor Edition

After finishing Philosopher’s stone, we simply couldn’t wait to grab Chamber of Secrets. A beautiful thing about Rowling’s Hogwarts is that its quite gripping. But for me, the experience of first time reading the books is profoundly magnified by my beloved fiancée who is a newbie to the Harry Potter series. It is almost magical. She has been dragged so much into the Hogwarts world that after completing the second book, she’s already re-reading the first with her students and has already bought for us the 25th Anniversary edition as well, hehe. Looking her remember each and every character and relating to or anticipating events is fun. Our giggling together at Fred and George’s goofiness, or frowning at Lucius Malfoy, or amazed by Dumbledore, or me having a hard time not spoiling it as I have seen the movies – makes our experience so much enjoyable. We have already started with Prisoners of Azkaban and half way through it. Can’t think of anything else to write, so that’d be all. P.S: Needless to say, the 20th Anniversary editions which we are reading (Gryffindor and Slytherin edition) are such a beauty!

Bought this beautiful book only for its awesome hardcover edition... Even with simple binding, they made it to look like premium, with smooth details... Inside the book I expected more illustrations, but still it looks great... With this price range you will get more than you expected... Good to go for this Hardcover edition, to those wizards who collects...

When I got delevery of the book 📚 it was inside the packaging and with a nice wrap on top .. The spine of the book is really good , but sometimes can get a little janky to hold to (really at the starting chapters and the ending chapters). But it is a great spine very well glued and also no pages have been torn out till now . The cover of the book , the jacket of the hard cover has a good Matt finish to it , and hadvery delicate deltails on it.. Over all , it is good A reader must buy .

Over time, I had started reading more of non-fiction and less of fiction. When I decided to read some absorbing fiction Harry Potter was my natural choice. I really spent a lot of time in choosing the right edition until I hit upon this Gryffindor 20th Anniversary edition. The volumes are clean and a pleasure to read and own. A couple of line drawings in every chapter would have enriched this edition.

Just imagine waking up in the morning and the first thing (THE VERY FIRST THING) you receive, is this!!!!! 😍😍❤❤❤ I am so excited to embark on this journey once again.... This will always be precious to me and I love it with all my heart and soul!!! 😭❤❤

I reordered it , previous one was totally damaged . Thank God is one is appropriate.

I am so happy and extremely delighted to own a copy of this GEM after a long time! The vibrant red colour is the best part of book along with the golden embossing, its the most perfect look a book can get! Also, the book itself in context of the originap text is so so so magical and amazing that it still has that charm!!
