oh sweet! nice smooth surface! easy to clean! very high durability. heat is good fast. lid fit is unknown. induction is unknown. good to adapt. good with making dosa and omlette, pancake, toast, sandwiches.

Excellent product
Hawkins is unbeatable in non-stick vessels(and other vessels as well). If someone finds their products a bit pricey, but they last so long that it's worth the price. I have used a small frying pan for a long time, and the coating still stands. This tawa is ideal for making dosas and uttapams. Dosa turns nice and crispy with minimum oil. I also made eggs in this tawa with minimum oil, and they didn't stick. You can go for it without second thoughts.

Very well constructed.
Very sturdy and solid. Even heat dusting. Made roti & samosa pastry on it. Haven’t tried dosa as yet.

Great tava and easy to maintain
I had this on my wishlist for some time and am very happy I got it. I was using an electric griddle to make dosas which works fine but can be a little difficult to clean. This tava is much easier to use and clean up. The dosas turn out great. I have not yet used it fr anything else, but I am sure it will work fine for other purposes as well.
